You use the exe to install Vectrick, which asks for the serial number. Once installed you replace the dlls with the new ones, they're just updates. You have to use the installer first because it's the only time it asks for a serial.briandc wrote:Ok. Thanks Bob!bob bobwood wrote:The dll didn't work for me either, you need to download the exe file. And you only need the number, no letters and make sure there is no space at the end.briandc wrote: How/where do I insert the new serial number?

Although I'd really like to use the dll.... if anyone has a solution, I'd love to hear..

cheers Jimi, those look funky. you into guitar synth pedals?
i found a circuit for something old, will see if i can dig it
up.
oh yeah: checked out my old pearl thriller, which i thought was
dull/sh*t, but if you put it pre/post a basic fuzz:wooh! it goes
mental> >: BPF/HPF with 6x res boost points. mad harmonic stuff.
at more moderate settings, also very effective/tight.

Had a good couple of hours this evening using "synthedit designed vst" and "VST ont été réalisé avec SYNTHEDIT" as search phrases.
Darwin4 synth; http://dannyayers.com/stuff/synthedit/index.html
BenchMark_II synth; http://www.spanglefish.com/zerobeat/ind ... geid=66866
this site also has Mentor.exe and FirstFM.exe, but I can't load, open or run them in anything, I've tried changing ext type etc, in fact I've done everything except check the rocker sills and the glove compartment !
HenonWave02 synth; http://felinguellec.free.fr/Plugins-01.html
also midi trio; Fractal-Control-06, Fractal-Drum-06 and Fractal-Score-06.
T-Exchange Synth.se1; http://www.t-exchange.net/index.asp?pageid=410469
synthedit se1 thing, no use to me though.
Came across these, but no working links.
tleilaxu-beta and tleilaxu-0_2; http://codelab.fr/669
krulic-final; http://codelab.fr/619
and almost related. Anyone have this ?
Belgian Stutter fx; http://web.archive.org/web/200712021123 ... php?id=170
Might make 700 at this rate.

Cheers for the link spacedad. Pluggos always in cheers.
T'was brajs' inane wonderings that triggered a new search for synthedit.
I'm just amid preparing my tax return and needed a break. Any ideas on those zerobeat oddities ? I've tried with vsthost and savihost to no avail.

There is a GM vsti in each of the free Yamaha MidRadio Player 6 & 7 (SGP.DLL and SGP2.DLL respectively)
http://download.music-eclub.com/midradi ... oad_v6.php
http://download.music-eclub.com/midradio/download.php
They are tied to the players but can be unlocked to be used in any host by using the patchers at the link below:
http://gocha.s151.xrea.com/wiki/Tools.html
(Required also are the tbl files, which are the soundbanks, that are in the same folder as the vstis)

Yep codelab needed a french navigator to look through it. Does it indicate that their was a link or that you had to be a member ?
dug this up though a link on codelab693 but its all max/msp stuff http://web.archive.org/web/200810100726 ... rg/maxmsp/ includes text to speeech.
Anyway news on zerobeat..I emailed him and got a response back acknowlodging the wrong files were posted, so he's corrected that and also put the S16 arpeggiator up now as well. So thanks to zerobeat.

Thanks Eidenk, one question, this gm synth - it is gm piano only (not a whole gm bank)or is FLStudio missing something ?

They are full GM softsynths and sgp2.dll (which is YAMAHA SoftSynthesizer S-YXG2006LE) is GM2, GS and XG compliant apparently. They are more suited for midi file playback than sequencing I guess as you'll need to send them midi program changes to use the other instruments (and percussions are on Channel 10 as you'd expect). I don't have FL so I don't know how to do that with it.
Good job with the zerobeat stuff btw, that little arp ain't bad at all even if it's not Kirnu or Blue Arp.
And guess what guys, it's only yesterday I came across that superb E-MU Proteus VX which was made free in 2008, not quite sure how I have managed to miss it until now...

I've been using FL Studio to send MIDI through to them and placing them on an effects channel. Works great.bob bobwood wrote:Thanks Eidenk, one question, this gm synth - it is gm piano only (not a whole gm bank)or is FLStudio missing something ?
Can also confirm that they are XG compliant. Not so sure how to do it in FL, but using the standard radio player, opening an XG file (Time Circuits and Zora's Domain from The Digital Serenade Zone) displays it as XG and uses all custom stuff.
ETA: Found this on archive.org Not necessarily a VST softsynth, but a Win tracker.

Interesting.

great find. Almost forgot AXS. It's fun to play with and very light on CPU.
Bset thing is the internal Synthesizer which sounds not that bad.
