Yo! Oh, what? Care to tell us what host your using? It's a bit difficult help you otherwise.
Then answer the following questions either out loud, in your head or with your keyboard.
Did you actually install the bundle or just "add it to your account"?
Did you point your host to the appropriate plugin folder?

So I recorded a 4 bar loop of guitar and put on a maseratti guitar plugin and instantly maschine freezes and exits out.
What the heck? Native instruments what is up with your products?

... not sure why Machine would have an effect on it though... mind, the waveshell is notoriously unstable in the best of cases.

I also purchased that bundle, haven't experienced any performance conflicts with NI products so far.
My only concern with it are the plugins themselves. Very limited purpose these, only good for ott-loud-in-your-face pop music imho. Bit disappointed, shouldn't have let my gearlust get in the way of common sense...

How can a plugin not be installed right? You just run the installer, choose desired components and point it to the correct folder. Just as I did, yet it required me to make additional steps to stop it crashing my daws.
Never had such issues with eg Native Instruments software (and I have ancient Komplete 5, which still manages to install and update itself smoothly).

This is a repost of what I said on your similar thread at Native Instruments:
Not like it matters, but Maschine isn't a Waves-supported plugin host.
And even for "supported" DAWs, Waves only claims about 80% coverage. Only Pro Tools, Cubase, and Nuendo are 100% supported.

I would take this up with NI because that means there's other plugins that won't work either in Machine.UltimateOutsider wrote:This is a repost of what I said on your similar thread at Native Instruments:

Even friggin $75 Renoise runs waves plugins smoothly and is not supported by waves.

Well, Waves One Knob freebie crashed my Renoise x64 like no other plugin to finally stop even being detected until I made additional steps (which might be an overkill for many). So I'd still put this on Waves - it's their utterly stupid shell design which causes most of the issues.

Yes, Maschine is a marvelous kit but bad news if you try to use third-party plugs inside it...pfff
