I'm trying to join the group but it comes back with "We're Sorry...there was a problem with your request. The page you've requested returned this error: Failed to get email domain regex." :(

Just had some correspondence with nycsounddesign about the old nyc vst. On asking if I could host and share, the response was;
"KVR is a great site! If you want, go ahead and dropbox them as long as you're sure that they work ok".

They work well enough for me, just be careful if you are randomising for presets as they can be pretty loud.

So, with thanks to nycsounddesign, here's 4 synths; Arrakisynth, Electro-Gracie, Porcelain Bunny and Feeza plus an amp sim, SPECTRUM_212.

Could you post some more information about this synths, maybe screenshots, so one knows what to expect?

Downloaded the zip, but the synths comes as installers, and I don't want to install anything without knowing what to expect :wink:

I love music, worked with a number of music/rhythm/dance games like Pump It Up, In The Groove, Cytus and Deemo, and teach music production.

Compared to what?

lighten up will ya Numanoid, this thread has rarely been about discussing the merits, whys or wherefores of any of the gear.

It is essentially up to you to to look into them further and try or not.

Don't like exe files ? use sandiebox or whatever it's called, but I have never been burnt by anything in this thread and I have downloaded and tried virtually everything in it.

When plugs are labeled as "really, really great", I think that an old lost freeware gem is uncovered.

Unfortunately that was not the case. So I feel a bit tricked into spending time downloading and starting up plugs that are not very good at all.

But I can deal with that.

I don't think my postings have been very negative. I ask for some info about some plugs, and post a wry comment about a plug I found to be not very good

Why keep this thread as sticky at the very top of sub-forum, if it is only going to be a club for a small clique who can't handle a wry comment now and then?
