NI: Massive RE-Imagined ...
User: uhmm .. this sounds just like massive
NI: That's what we said
User: errr... but $129 to upgrade a program I already have????
NI: No, it has a much more modern UI to provide extra bottom end to your MIDI controller
User: OOOOOHHHHHH, ok then

I'd find ironic to see NI releasing products inspired on a guy they rejected to work with.Tridnod wrote:NI:s take on a cross between zebra 2/diva. There you got it.

Got it... it's a meta-modular-synth, much like Reaktor, but uniquely capable of loading any current synth and/or effect plugin in existence. It then deconstructs the plugin, allowing you to use its modules in conjunction with other plugins.
That WOULD be one synth to rule them all.

Then why are they showing linked Reaktor modules in the video?

who says it's Reaktor ... especially when at least one person who is likely a beta tester says it isn't reaktor based. And I'm pretty sure my sarcasm amplifier is pretty well at full power while posting that.VitaminD wrote:SJ_Digriz wrote:I still say it is just going to be Massive with a new GUI and much marketing hoopla

Followed by NI telling them "there is a sounds like ass setting that will allow you to play up to 3 notes"

99% sure this isn't Reaktor. If it's another VA synth, I'm curious about what is it going to bring to the table that Diva or DCAM SS or LuSH-101 haven't already delivered? The demos sound nice and gritty though.

I have the 2001 letter of rejection framed over my bed. Next to their 2005 plea to send another application.George wrote:I'd find ironic to see NI releasing products inspired on a guy they rejected to work with.Tridnod wrote:NI:s take on a cross between zebra 2/diva. There you got it.
