They'll find a reason to discontinue it in a couple of years... Problem solved... #DiscontinuedProductsRulezNeon Breath wrote:Wouldn't that be like shooting in your own foot for NI though?realmarco wrote:One synth to rule them all.

I am >< (this close) to buying Diva anyway, so let's see if NI jumps the shark. If they do, my credit card will teleport itself to my hand, my browser will autoload http://www.u-he.com/cms/diva, and my life will suddenly become shiny and happier.djanthonyw wrote:Urs wrote:I have the 2001 letter of rejection framed over my bed. We shall see orchestral machines with a thousand new sounds, with thousands of new euphonies, as opposed to the present day's simple sounds of strings, brass, and woodwinds. -- George Antheil, circa 1925 ---

How would failing to have retained your original application on file,Urs wrote: I have the 2001 letter of rejection framed over my bed. Next to their 2005 plea to send another application.
inspire you to reconsider? Better for them to have grovelled in person,
with some surf & turf, to at least hint at being serious.

I should also add ACE to this list.Phase47 wrote:99% sure this isn't Reaktor. If it's another VA synth, I'm curious about what is it going to bring to the table that Diva or DCAM SS or LuSH-101 haven't already delivered? The demos sound nice and gritty though.

Yeah that is hilarious, Urs. Good motivation too
I'm actually glad it worked out as it did.. I think it is pretty safe to say you are too?

I was hoping recently that a new VA would appear in Komplete 9...Echoes in the Attic wrote:If they are going full out on analog modeling technology then it is certainly not a Reaktor synth. It's too cpu heavy to build stuff in reaktor compared to low level code.
I also hope that it is not a Reaktor plugin....
It's too clunky to deal with it that way...
But I'm still betting that it will be called Mebra or Miva

It would be interesting if it is a new product that is essentially a performance mode reaktor.. a super modular synth where you can connect anything you want behind the gui and it thus modifies the gui as a result.
That is.. want 3 VCOs? add them. Throw in a Sub OSc.. no problem.. you can update it on the fly.
It could come with a few different layouts as preset and each of those with patches.
That or it's reaktor 6..
