I of course can be wrong, but I actually think it was one of NI mad scientist whose work in zero delay filters started the full current craze.

$99 or $129 sounds NI-like to me.
Big price. :o Especially considering Arturia sells the Mini V for the same price and has all the stuff in the upper panel in addition to the actual synth. Well, we'll see.

To those of you yawning at Monark,

Listen to the filter again on the "revolution is coming" video ...that filter fking rips and sounds like it is alive with real electricity.
The filter and res sounds better than any other softsynth I've heard...even diva. The saturaton sounds like real voltage. You can also hear how punchy the env's are.

*Now* add to that the fact that we can jack that filter, envs, oscs etc. and put them into other reaktor synths (polys) as well as using reaktor as a vst fx and running your other softsynths, guitars w/e through the filter!(custom filterbank anyone?)

So I wonder, is it "just another moog" or your lack of imagination? ;)
Your mom used to alias, but now she is oversampled.

Sure let's stick to sh***y implementations, like resonance tracking a filter cut off point, it sounds so fantastic, like plastic :)
Why one would need a Zero-Delay Feedback, when one can have a plastic bag instead

What's so bad about YT's audio? Seems clear enough to me to hear what it sounds like. :o Unless you mean you can't judge without actually operating the synth yourself.

It's good quality but it's also compressed to stream over the internet at a reduced file size.

Anyways back on topic..

I am looking forward to the new releases! I can't believe how many amazing samplers and programs we have in this day and age.. it's seriously a blessing for those who want to make music.

Yeah, but so is Soundcloud. Never saw anyone complaining about not being able to judge sound banks quality due to that. :P

192kbps AAC is transparent to the original for most. Golden ears?

lol I was just joking around about the golden ears thing. As for the compression link, I only pointed that out because of the previous comments to mine.
