Thanks for all your feedback!
I will definitely make a mayor upgrade on GUI. Most of your suggestions are already on my list! I wanted to get this beta out to get some user feedback.

Just demoed...couldn't make a decent house kick but other stuff is great...you should take a look at Vengeance Metrum and do some improvements if you can, those sine kicks are simple, powerful and easy to make...IMO Drumatic is very anemic in that regard...currently...

hi ephonic. many developers have an intro price. what do you think about 30 usd for an intro price? 3 people already said they would buy it at that price, and you can always charge more down the road after you get it to a more polished state. in this way, loyal early buyers would benefit and you would have some extra money in your pocket. its a win/win :)

60Eur (inc Tax) price does seem a bit steep

Well, that wouldn't be fair to the people who already bought a license. But I'll think about some kind of offer.

my hand is literally on the paypal button :help: 49euro or 30 usd. the more i play with this the more i realize how awesome it sounds. i may have to cave.

btw, is drumatic4 based on samples, or synthesis?

Post

It's mix of subtractive, FM (tone, hihat, noise) and wavetable synthesis (most noise).
The wavetable part doesn't just play samples but generates it's sound from wavetables. If you hold down the 909 hihat for example you'll hear that it sounds like a endless stream without loops.

I'd pay it if it was OSX compatible :P
Especially since the free e-phonic plugins have given me so many good times.
And it HAS been a LONG time too. Drumatic 3 was a go-to for me.

since designing sounds is very hard work, i dont think i would want to give my sounds away for free but i will say, (no offense to the developer) the included sounds do not do the synth justice whatsoever. for example. heres a bassdrum i made. (took me 2 hours) but as you can see, in the right hands, this synth can make incredible and believable kick drums. im sure it does just as well with other drum sounds but all i did so far was a kick.

@AstralExistence
Cool, I'll check it out when I get home.

As for the introduction price, I've decided to make a €29 offer as long as the plugin is in beta!
I will put this up ASAP, all people who already have a license will be refunded the difference when the new offer is live!
Hope this helps some of you on your decision! ;-)
