Isn't there a thing about the number 23?

So a tweet was reposted on the CW forum... says they're going to show it at NAMM 2014

countdown: 60? Or is that just another countdown separate from years end?

On another note, I played it quite a bit this afternoon. I'm still finding more use for it than my other sample players. :)

Wait, was NAMM 2014 moved up to 2013, or is that an egg on Peter's face? :)

Sonik Capsules have the tools for that, could they share it?

When I bought Sonik Capsules Acoustic Guitars, it came on a CD-ROM with Universal Format Output (UFO).

Even though the product indicates that it is for Sample Tank, with the UFO I can choose to output to content of the disc to also work with Kontakt, EXS24, NNXT and Halion.

My logical conclusion is that this UFO tool should be able to port other ST2 libs also to those other formats?

Post

^^^^
UFO was an early customised version of Chicken Systems Translator, I believe. Dated 2004. It outputs SampleTank instruments, using .aif samples files as the input. It does NOT convert SampleTank instruments.

The instrument files for the other formats are already on the disk - all UFO has to do is update them for the samples folder location.

Even without a "translator", I guess it could be done manually, even though it would be time consuming.

And to get a GUI to go with it, could one use something like the HS Shell?:

what can i say... call me what you (not you personally) want to... but how could an update like Sampletank 3 be released without a major fanfair?

the way the IK Multimedia Reps have acted over Sampletank 3 and its release... i would not update if it came with gold bullion... they could keep it!!!

if you read my posts... they were all about how IK Multimedia treats their customers... they have a track record now... from mis-information/lying to talking down to its customers... think about it... how many other companies are so active pushing their products on the internet... classy organizations like Native Instruments, Steinberg, Specstrasonic, etc do not have a internet present like IK Multimedia... i wonder why... maybe their products speaks for themselves... as for me... i would not purchase any other products from IK Multimedia and would/will advise other to do the same... i.e. if you own Sampletank you can get a cross grade to Mach 5 3 at a reasonable price... you do not see Mark of the Unicorn "hawking" their products on the internet... you do not see them mis-informing/lying to their customer base i.e. buy the group buy and get a free update to 64-bit player... respectable companies carries themselves in a professional matter... i prefer spending my hard earned cash with a respectable company...

just think about... IK Multimedia Reps comes into this thread talking about how many times i have been BANNED from different forums... but they have been BANNED just as many times "hawking" IK Multimedia products... cant see supporting IK Multimedia...

to the moderator... i am not sure where the line is between "trolling" and "stating my opinions"... especially when they turn out to be "facts"... it becomes a little confusing... if you could send me a private message explaining the difference between the two that would be great!!!

last point... hopefully at NAMM some companies that i am willing to spend my money with will have something new to offer...

it is NAMM by the way!!!

everyone enjoy your day and the holidays...

Impossible :o

I'm quite sure that IK staff (see the OP) have confirmed earlier that "read my lips" : ST3 will be launched by the end of 2013 :?
