All his patches are custom but he usually releases them in refills. I think the dolby one is in his 88mph volume 3 refill.

You should check out his other volumes too :D

I think it looks like shite. Now all the REs are lumped in together with refills making it slow to load and difficult to navigate. The "refine your search" buttons dont work for me, they just sit there woodenly. Nice move Props...
Hi.. you will see some drop down menus at the top, just click on the "Rack extensions" and it eliminates the refills from the list. :)

I was going to say what you did till i saw that, then realised overall it's much better than what they had :)
Yeah, I discovered that on a revisit... It makes things better, but I don't apppretiate this aggressive "push" kind of marketing. It makes me less inclined to purchase, if anything.
WTF man seriously. You are joking right? :)

Seriously, why is PH so hated?
I think their philosophy is either love it or hate it. You won't see a lot of hate on the PUF obviously because it's members only, but here where the whole focus is plugins, people are going to snub it because it's the only DAW where they can't use them.

Were you not aware that this is the part of their website where they sell stuff?
How very droll.. I am aware that they sell stuff everytime I walk into a shop, but I dont appretiate it when a salesperson approaches me and atempts to sell me something I have no interest in, and it's difficult to locate and buy the product that I did walk in to buy. What part of that simple concept are you having difficulty understanding?

Would you really not prefer to buy a custard tart instead..

You see it just doesn't scan....

Well excuse me for being obnoxious.. but wtf? There are no "salesmen".. when you walk into Walmart you go over to the section that has what you want and then take it to one of cashiers at the front. If you can't find it then you look at one of signs hanging from the ceiling or ask someone who works there where it is. You don't go to customer service and bitch that they need to get rid of all that other stuff you don't want at the moment. C'mon now.

Drop downs are not working not working in Firefox 24. Work in Chrome and Safari.
(not that I ever use Safari...)

Props, I would like also to see an option in the dropdown for REs "on sale" and a "price Low to High / High to Low"

Re: Reason is a toy was a silly response by me from the post: the Black Knight Re looks like it was "built by kids for kids". Nothing more. Nothing less.
What a surprise to see the responses after that! Reason is an amazing program. I'd be happy if the current version is all I could use for the rest of my life...

I don't know why people take and defend software so seriously.

Do you stick up for for other - more important - life issues with as much passion?

I hope so.

Ok, you're excused.

I can see what the problem is now. It's simply a cultural thing I guess. I have the good fortune to live in a part of the world where it is still possible to walk into a shop and get good service and easily find what you went in for without being pressured to BUY BUY BUY! all the the other stuff you don't want or have any need for. Old fashioned I guess, but I kind of like it.

BTW you'll notice that I very carefully wrote sales"person" rather than "salesman". Another cultural oddity... :hihi:

BTW I had no clue that you "very carefully" wrote 'sales"person"'.

But thanks for sharing that.

+1000, Ive never understood why they dont have this. Alot of times i just want to see if something is on sale or want to check out the low end of the price spectrum as Im not all invested in reason and if I want a RE its going to be a cheap one. Its like they think their entire customer base just doesnt care about the price of the goods

To be fair to Props, there were not a lot of REs at the beginning to do so. It was easy enough to just scan the small amount of offerings.

But at this point in time, I am noticing way more REs and by next year, the number may double or triple. And, at this point, I already don't feel like wading through the entire catalogue of REs to search for something in my price range.

For many of us, I'm sure that music making is a colorful spot in an otherwise repetitive and stressful daily life. What could be more important than chasing your dreams and having fun in the process?

Nah, just some politically correct wanking ;) I doubt there are any women on this board to fall in love with you anyways. I don't think there's any pressuring going on, unless you have GAS and can't resist a bit of front page advertisement. If that's the case then I'm not sure how you deal with the ads plastered all over KVR.. and in the forums, no less.

Well, you've got me there! Of course the only Reason I,m here at all is cos the Props forum is down and I'm still feeling miffed about it. for the Record I love Reason and Propellorheads, but I don't think they've done themselves any favours the way they've gone about this.

...and WHERE are all the women on this forum???

I didn't mean any harm. It just struck me a little funny at the time. :) Many of us PUFers are over at the two most busy Prop spots on Facebook: Reasonistas and the Rack Extensionists group. All the latest news, RE announcements, beta signups, and opinion threads are happening over there. Feel free to join us.
