Yeah, then it would be Reaper's. A good call would be sticking MIDIOX between Reaper and Pulse and then see what's happening with the clock off vs clock on.

Just did another test without being able to replicate the bug.faun2500 wrote:You mean the reset midi stuff? I have all that unticked from previous bug hunting expeditions! lol
Sending clock syncs stuff to reaper yeah? LFO'S and Arps and that? Really need it to be all synced together. But who's fault is it? Reaper or Pulse? I will have to see if the Slim Phatty's glitching is caused by the clock. If it is, it would be Reapers fault I guess?
Some info about my setup:
Pulse 2 OS 1.14 (official version), Windows 7 64-bit, Reaper 4.61 64-bit (latest),
in Reaper sending clock enabled for Pulse 2 (connected via USB), Tickmarks at Reaper MIDI device preferences activated ("On stop/play: Send all-notes off, Reset pitch, Reset CC"). also checked different clock settings in the Pulse 2 Global menu (e.g. auto, external)
UPDATE:
Is it possible that you give/write the status of the entries in the Global menu in your Pulse 2 (e.g. MIDI channel, MIDI Thru, Clock, TX Arp Clock, TX Arp notes, TX parameter)?

Hi guys, sorry to bother you...any idea / info on 14 bit MIDI CC? they will come as 1.15 ?
or is'nt the Pulse2 controller chip not able to manage 14 bit MIDI CC for memory limitations and the likes?
thanks

That was from Midi OX and is the notes I hear arpeggiated. Does this mean that reaper is SENDING these notes?

There's no way Reaper is sending those notes, I would say those are incoming notes from the Pulse.

When I play this midi part and look at MIDI PORT ACTIVITY in midiox There is NO activity until I select either AUTO or EXT clock on the pulse?
I get activity on the RME fireface 2 which isn't used now. I will check if there is a loop or something involving the rme's midi

For me this setting does not make a difference (= no bug here) but there are some other settings in the pulse 2 global menu (like i mentioned above).
In the Utility menu in the Pulse 2 there is a feature called "Init Global parameters". Maybe you could try that. This will reset all parameters in the Global menu to the default values.

Its OK, I have the exact same problem in Live 9 and this coupled with a few other things have made me decide to send the Pulse 2 back. Nevermind. Need a replacement now!

As just mentioned by email i had no single case when i could confirm the bug so far. With both Reaper and Live 9 and many different setting both those hosts and in the Pulse 2.faun2500 wrote:Its OK, I have the exact same problem in Live 9 and this coupled with a few other things have made me decide to send the Pulse 2 back. This is frustrating as it is difficult to help when you are not able to reproduce certain bugs like this.

Yes, I would also first try a replacement unit before giving completely up.
