In general it's a smart move to keep your HD tidy. So you'd want to uninstall the demo before setting up Nora2. Just a few clicks...dsan@mail.com wrote:Should the 1.4 demo be un-installed before installing v2 full?

I'm unable to download my license - I get the email with the links for the program (which installed fine) and license file - but when I click the link for the license file, I'm redirected back to the Nora/Squaredheads homepage, where it says a new license has been generated...so i click on the download link - and same thing happens again. (I already have a paid-for Nora 1.4). Help!

Thank you MUCH for this feature!!squaredheads wrote:nexussynth wrote:is it possible to add a feature that could capture the output of NORA to a midi file? no arp plugin does this but it would be very useful actually...Done in 2.01. You can record without any limit except the host loop point. (If you want to record more, you only have to arrange more clips).mysticvibes wrote:might work if the midi from the Daw triggers the 'phrase' of nora and writes it in another pattern inside nora. Maybe similar to the mutate option? But would still like to be able to export a midi if possible too.
BTW, anyone reading this thread and waiting for the demo version should just go ahead and buy the licensed version. There has never been a plugin like this before. At this point, calling it an 'Arpeggiator' just doesn't do it justice. SquaredHeads are really breaking new ground here..

It is not a request, but I would do it. You may have problems if you install Nora 2 in the same folder than Nora 1.4 (full version), since they are looking for the same license file (Nora.key).dsan@mail.com wrote:Should the 1.4 demo be un-installed before installing v2 full?
Nora 1.4 and Nora 2 can be installed at the same time if they're in different folders. However Nora 2 does everything 1.4 does, faster and better.

I just read you email. Oscar will solve your problem. I was about to tell you that when you asked me, but I thought I could sound like microsoft support ("Please make sure you have your PC turned on"Rajah wrote:Edit... BTW, the manual was there all the time.. needed to upgrade my pdf reader...
The manual isn't fully updated. There is two actions that I don't see there:
Shift+Right Click -> creates a vertical line to scissors notes / clips
Ctrl+Shift+Left Click -> touch-edit notes

Does Nora 2 function as a MIDI FX plugin in Logic Pro X?

What's the ETA of the demo for 2.0? I'm very interested in this...

Nice... Also, seems like you can 'drag and drop' a midi file onto the Phrase Editor, add some randomization... and, no more creative block..squaredheads wrote:I was about to tell you that when you asked me, but I thought I could sound like microsoft support ("Please make sure you have your PC turned on"Rajah wrote:Edit... Must agree with nexussynth, "There has never been a plugin like this before".

Hmmm, well, I'm a big fan of arpegiators and phrase generators but I confess to being a tiny bit underwhelmed. So far it feels to me like an enhanced Catanya.
There's a big list of presets which basically just split up whatever chord you play into rhythmic subsets of that chord. You can put different chunks together in the pattern editor and randomize them as well. And that's the core of what it does. Or am I missing something fundamental here?
It's certainly fun to play.

Love this plug, the timing improvements are noticeable first thing - but have noticed one small niggle - drag copying (ie., ctrl while moving) doesn't seem to be working in Cubase 8 (worked ok in 7.5).
