Don't worry. The most of the code I use can be recycled later. The temporal part it's just the menu entry or similar.

There is a problem using 64 bits version with OSX 10.8. With OSX 10.9 Nora works as expected. Anyway we are investigating the problem.

i take it you have not used a midi plugin in Sonar or are not a Sonar user?

with 8 parts firing away in NORA there will be problems as most Sonar users are aware

I looked hard at Nora when she made her first public coming-of-age appearance. I tried to overlook her, despite being tempted and when I thought I succeeded in being a gentleman I succumbed to the lure of the second coming of Nora. 2.

Haven't demoed, but I bought. Will I have time to dance with her soon? I'll see...........or hear

I haven't walked through this entire thread, so this may have already been addressed:

I bought Nora and logged into my Squaredheads account. Went to 'Personal Data'.

There's text after an '!' that says: 'Check your e-mail to download your license.'

Beneath that is an entry under 'Hired Products'. The text says 'Click on the DOWNLOAD button to download the software.We will send you an e-mail with a download link for the software and license.'

Beside that is a clickable link that says 'Download NORA'.

So I clicked it, assuming that this would trigger a download and that I'd get a license code and verifying download link via email.

However, no download, in either Chrome or IE.

Then I got three emails saying that I'd generated three licenses, with each one including clickable links for downloading Nora and getting a license.

This may be a language issue -- but this is pretty confusing to a native English speaker. If the clickable link in my Squareheads account only generates emails, it should say so, rather than being labelled as a download button.

Apparently, every time I clicked on it, it generated a new email, and a new license, and cancelled the older licenses.

All of this is relatively trivial, but you might want to look into clarifying.

A small secondary issue is that Nora has a great price! -- But the Euro42 price supposedly includes VAT, and we don't pay VAT in the US. Lots of vendors get around this by having different prices for EU vs. non-EU countries, others have their payment processors subtract VAT. I personally think that the $53.02 USD that I paid for this software is still a great deal and have no problem with it.

You might want to change 'Hired Products' to 'Purchased Products', as well as changing the text to something like 'Click to receive an email with a new license key and a download link for NORA 2'. Then change the button label to something like 'Email NORA 2 to me'.

Or not.

In any case, I'm eagerly looking forward to playing with Nora!

EDIT: Ah, I should also mention that your demo video/animation doesn't play for me, in either Chrome or IE. It just circles forever. You may want to place a copy of the vid on your YouTube channel and link to that, in case other people are having this problem. If it's the NewPhrases vids, then I strongly suggest that you offer links to them on your main page.

Using Nora2.0 with Live 9.1.6 32-bit on Win7

I seem to have a problem with the MIDI routing, for I cannot route the 8 outs to seperate MIDI tracks. It should be possible(I hope).

In the MIDI FROM menu I can select Nora, but not multiple tracks.

Anyone else has this? Maybe the wrong place to ask, but thanks anyway.

what i dont get is that in the demo of 1.4 (testing it) the notes are not always played right? e.g. here only the last note is played. why?

Getting huge CPU spikes (all cores !!!)when hitting stop in Logic/Studio One when using with specific plugins, both Dune 2 and Dune are the ones I have noticed so far. Using VST version hosted in Blue Cat Patchwork in Logic and VST in Studio One, both 64 bit.

if you push / send only one note to the Nora you will get only notes from first row so the last note in your picture
when you push two notes you'll get 2 notes from it ..in order bottom to top..
you have to send three notes to get full sequence..
also if phrase has 4 rows you have to feed Nora with 4 notes to hear all of the notes in the phrase so same for the 5 rows.
