Old Free VSTi Gems From The Past

If you like really old good gems, listen to that. It was in 1970.
Huge flutes, huge basses, huge drums, wah-wah pedal, and a groove... Mamma mia! And incredible solos! The album duration was just 33 minutes... but it is half an hour of pure dream! Especially the second track with the bass, the very long flanged drum solo, and the final saxo solo.
It is with that album that I discovered the psychedelic fusion-jazz, I was... 10 years old!
Youtube compresses so much the sound that it doesn't gives the best quality of that extraordinary album.

Just a few months before, came out the divine "Ummagumma" and "In the Court of the Crimson King".

It was a time when VST meant "Very Splendid Tracks".Aloysius wrote:Never heard of that VST. Link?

oh, follows from same point when you kick over to youtube, cool.
5.22, kicks in nicely.
brief musical interlood doth remind us, VST cannot do everything.
France has a tradition of touring live covers bands, (bal pop') which
means some really excellent players. makes up somewhat for the sometimes
questionable commercial scene hehe. saw excellent bands working on a campsite.

That's cool, mztk. We don't have snow here yet. What's that yellow thing on the right? Is that something you hook onto a truck?

That's a tractor? It's really high off the ground. I don't have a yard, myself.
er...no free oldies to post, been practicing, but do have plenty of my usual junk freewares pretty far along.

that's the trailer. - hey does that make me white trash?
the snow was exceptional-well there's some most years up there; generally,
misty sunrise over the valley behind, little troupe of wild boar coming by
the walnut tree at night, barbecue outside, not much in the way of neighbours,
and good weather. (there's a swimming pool round the corner)like sitting in an
oven in summer..but all things must end and i had to move on. not much else to
do in there in the evenings but synthedit! (synthedit being of course a highly
dangerous activity, as we know...got any good RSI's, RBR? )
the stove in this thing was, fortunately, an amazing installation, and i got very
good at lighting a fire quickly in the morning lol, and had a good routine re:
chopping wood. very invigorating, and highly recommended - for your karma,
my bredren...

Hot summers suck, I don't know if your windows could hold a window fan. Those work pretty well, I had one before.

no, i was just happy with the Vista :p
(and i had aircon for emergencies)
hey just found this, RM1X controller plugin:
just for sounds i think, not sequencer functions.(i found a battered rm1x in
the cashconvert place for 26euros, but will be ok with new tact switches,
had one broken led stem that was stopping it from working, but ok now)

(d*mn though, all that processing? i'm sure the old atari would woop
that thing into shape...)
