I have little luck in finding any long lost synths recently so was very happy to see this in my inbox today.

Hi here's a zip from my Dropbox folder

I don't have the original Zinc synth on my PC (though I must have it stored somewhere) but this is a slightly updated version which I did about the same time. It has about 10 presets I think

feel free to pass on the link, let me know what you think of it
It was originally posted in 2002 in a thread promoting the then new feature "Save your SynthEdit creations as VST Plugins"

Thanks Jbravo, much appreciated.
No problem really but just found that using FLWrapper Preset Randomize with Zinc crashes FLStudio.

yeh, you gotta stop doing that  some stuff under the bonnet can't handle that,
depends on the build.

apolz for pumping up my own volume :-p
but if you want another take on Juno, here's another one, DC0-6(again)
some errors, and needs re-doing.
i've figured out what it needs since this one: the real LFO>DCO is-i think-
only 1 semitone max effect, not a whole octave!
i really like the Flintlock plugin though, even though it doesn't have a
chorus. runs light, and has a tight sound, very usable. mine is a bit
wooll-ier, quite good for pads, and good with chords eg: try it with
Bomer's mouse keyboard (and please feel free to upload some new chord
definitions for that if you make any, i've had some stunning results with
that program)

yo, peeps: i have mooted this:

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 2&t=428933

a Novation Remote Automap library.(hope i haven't somehow missed
the point! hehe) - this is good for software synth automappings too,
i figure, since the current resources available online a pretty rubbish,
not much there. this Remote Zero SL looks like a pretty cool box.
(another sleazy cheap grab down at cash converters against dvds a few
months back, never used.)

It depends your system.

For Linux and OSX it is the 2.4.4.
Permanent page for Linux and OSX here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/zynaddsubfx/

For Windows it is the 2.4.1.496beta.
Permanent page for Windows here:

(the OP is updated at each update of the VST plugin)

For me the management of the versions of ZynAddSubFX has always been a mess, due to multiple pages: The best is to always follow the first post of the latter link, and all the ZynAddSubFX forum

ok, i have that one now..
i haven't tried it for years tbh, but it had some interesting features back then,
and yeah, some foibles, but a nice sound. now it has a slicker GUI.

RBR still a prolific as ever,- some new ones i hadn't seen on that
giant list :o
