In your AlchemyConfig.txt file, if AddressSuppress is set to 1, the plugin won't display your address details in the gui.
the new installers downloaded after the annoncement (08.01.2015) will only have the Name watermarked into the presets and in the plugins.
i have checked that and it is not the suppress ;)

That is not what I wasn't talking about - I'm talking about the display of your address details in the gui.

Yes, that personal info doesn't need to be in the presets, you can batch remove it with a good text editor if you want - it's just that the default config of the current downloads doesn't embed that stuff into the presets in the first place.

However there is only a need to remove it if you are sharing your own presets online and don't want your personal info in there, or if you are engaging in sales/license transfer stuff and want to remove this info.

That's great so only your NAME is in the newer camel/shutdown/buyout/dontknow downloads and installers. And an Alchemy2 folder of some sorts hmmm .... I'm holding on to my Alchemy and sound libraries . People are selling there s off to cheap right now .

Is there still a transfer fee involved? If so, how much is it?

I can't imagine selling Alchemy. I can barely think of anything in my life that I've ever sold...cars that I've replaced, motorcycle race parts that I didn't need, maybe a guitar or two...

Camel Audio is not such a big deal to me personally. I don't have anything from them! Just found out the Daw I'm using might have seen its last update. For those who really love ca stuff and use it everyday, I know how you feel :(

As a Windows user, I hope not!

There's only one other company (a metro mapping app company called Embark) that I could Google that had the same privacy boilerplate as the new Camel Audio privacy policy section. They were, indeed, also bought by Apple and that section did not exist before they were bought by Apple.

The iPhone app lived on after the acquisition. The Android app, however, was killed. :dog:

Yes, and you can be sure if that type of setup is not already patented, you will see Apple granted a "wirelessly controlled software synthesizer" software patent in the near future. Apple loooves patents. Like they're obsessed. If Tim Cook and Co. could patent the family dog they would. And they couldn't get such a software patent without owning the technology. Question is: Alchemy Mobile goes back to 2011(?)... was it the first? 2011 is pretty far back, even if "remote DAW control" existed at the time.

Jusanother angle...
You need to limit that rez, bro.
