oravendi: Sorry no wavetables, that has been settled. I have actually checked myself the recent "boom" in wavetable synths and found out that it's just way too boring technology. It only controls harmonic properties, which you can do here as well. And the V9 adds lots of cool transformations, which are just way useful than wavetables, so that this is a definitive "no" to wavetables I'm afraid.

classic: The parallel filters are actually already there
. I'm not sure how useful that is but stil... Anyway in most synths the filters are the same ones as those in FX section, so you can actually have many of them
. I'll add the reverb to the to-do list, we'll see when there's time. After all there's the convolution reverb...

The problem with algorithmic sound is that most interesting sounds require non-algorithmic parts. So an outstanding VST is one that allows the most direct way to set and change the algorithmic and non-algorithmic sound controls. And the sound controls should not get in the way of the oscillators to provide clear sound. MpowerSynth has good oscillators. Perhaps some videos showing how to use the transformations in MpowerSynth to control the sound would be helpful. Wav tables are so established and understandable, I am not sure that they can be ignored. I also believe that supporting a time and frequency editor (spectral synthesis) is a very direct way to deal with non-algorithmic parts of sound. It is a matter of how quickly a person can understand the transformations and manipulate them to get the sound they want. Software ease of use is what makes for a great software designer.

True about the algos, though technically anything is algorithmic
. Anyway for the "randomness" there are the modulators. Of course, there you have to set them up somehow.
About transformations - it's very new (9.00b2 is out now btw), but there will definitely be some video! I stopped all video productions several months ago hoping the update will go faster...but it turned out to be a monster update so...
Anyway the transformations are very simple - one know and many many algorithms. The thing about wavetables is that these essential just change the waveshape, so these can only adjust harmonics. I was quite excited when Serum came out, but then I checked it and found out that this technology is really as boring as it is old... It is probably useful for some, but for me it looks extremely noncreative and clumsy. Progress in audio is quite slow

The version 9 is a little confusing, the Download i mean, its only one file, is it 64 or 32bit?
On the web page it says both but when you download is only one file, i tried to install but
there is no choice of 32 or 64 bits...anything on this?
Thanks

It's both! Thanks to the MeldaProduction Plugin Kernel technology it basically all takes about 100MB, so there's simply no choice. After all, you might not believe it, but most people don't understand what 32-bit and 64-bit actually is...

Thanks Vojchek, so...somewhere down the line it will ask me to choose 32 or 64 bit because
i did not get to that point, i just quit the installer at the time. And of course, i have few
installers who can do both at the same time.
Thanks

Actually it won't ask you, it will just install both, again simply because it's so tiny nobody should care. How many hours i have spent investigating why the plugins don't work for someone just to find out they installed 64bit version and their host was 32bit...
