A quickie 80's synthprov, and a good challenge. Had a bunch of bsod errors and some other DAW issues. The cpu was 15-25% but latency was completely dead by 14ish instances.

Didn't really spend much time mixing it, or checking the volumes. The kick and snare were fun to do. The Tom is close, but needs a few tweaks to sound right. The tone is very similar to the Electric Fairy's tune.

Uh oh, some stuff in my track didn't export correctly.
Since kvr says it's 11:45 now and I was wrong about the time, here's the corrected version (I hope).

I deleted the original and tried to upload this to the group, but it says my track has already been uploaded and is awaiting moderation... So if something goes wrong, I tried.

Better version or not, so many amazing songs this month I don't think it really matters if I fixed a couple small things. Great stuff everyone.

Well, at the last moment I decided to try coming up with a track to submit for this month's OSC. It's REALLY messy lol, and very rough (so no different from my usual submissions!).

I came up with a lead line and then expanded from there, and frantically tried to get everything sounding half-decent in time for the deadline. just made it! Not mixed.... will edit in a moment with details on what was used for track...

Hey guys, I have another long one for you

. I Ran out of time to shorten it and couldn't make any decisions with the time I had to arrange the blocks (30 mins). Song is 23 minutes

but flows well song structure wise and feels like one complete song.

Yeah, that KVR time thing ... drived me crazy. So I recently made some changes to my system ...

Thinking about also adding NY time, because bjporter often gives this as reference

Well...I submited a tune @ the last minute, after a frenzied effort to finish up in time. I deleted it though. Too many big, obvious problems with the mix. I like it too much to leave it in such a state. So, see you next time:)

I say upload it anyway if possible and put WIP or work in progress mix in the title

Haha, wow...pity that you're too late and so unhappy about it, but I think it's really fun! I can totally see a weird artsy cartoon about a workshop and a curious forest spirit stumbling into it, trying to figure out what that stuff is good for. Until suddenly an alien observes what's going on, waiting for the spirit to leave. Than the alien goes about it, analyzing all the tools and junk that lies around, eventually doing the same nonsense the forest spirit was doing.

Oh right, I forgot to list that one, Hotline Miami 2 was definitely part of making this month's track for me.
