Why don't you just download the demo and see (and hear!) for yourself?

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Well I loved the music of the first video, I don't know the reason why it was deleted, maybe he wanted to fix something. I think with that bank of preset/progression you only need to randomnly choose a couple of progression, then few Nora phrase and you have a full song.

Post

my chain in bitwig is:
chordz => nora => instrument

i have made several nora patterns to play with
now.. how can i change those patterns while song is playing ?

keep in mind that Chordz(first plugin in chain) mess up default midi values.

Post

You have two options. If Chordz do not change the CC's, you can assign different toggle CC's to different Nora scenes or individual patterns (a CC with a 127 value will trigger the scene / pattern).

If Chordz do not bypass the CC's you need to use the playlist to create an arrangement (Remember to switch to playlist mode).

Edit: a third option. If you can split by MIDI Channels (or Chordz bypass a certain MIDI Channel) you could still use notes to trigger the scene/pattern.

I had another idea in case everything else fails. Some hosts can send the MIDI output from a track to another track. If Bitwig allow this, you could create a track with Chordz, then route the Output to the Nora track. And in the Nora track send the keys to change pattern like you would do if Chordz wasn't there.

For some reason i failed to do that. Does the same concept work in FL Studio ?

Yes it should be possible: add Nora, your "chorder" plugin, and a VST. Set the output port from your "chorder" to Nora, like 'Output 10'. Open Nora and setup its ports something like 'Input:10 Output 11'. Then open your Synth and setup its input port to 11. Now, write notes in your chorder plugin, and write only the change pattern Notes in the Nora track. Make you sure that 'prevent feedback from control notes' is enabled in the preferences.
