Use the Track Configuration Window. You can open it clicking in the Config button of each track in the Pattern Editor, or using the built-in menu in the Phrase Editor. You can apply any type of quantization you wish, even copy it from another midi file and apply it. By default is a basic swing, so you only would need to adjust the Start knob.

If you have installed Nora correctly, since your clean install, and have located the VST to the proper folder for Bitwig Studio to scan, you may try this:

In BWS, go to Options/Preferences/Plug-In management and then, at the bottom, click on "Show errors found with plugins".

On this page you will find all the plugs that have caused errors and will not scan. Nora may be among those. Scroll this list to find.

If so, hit "Rescan" button. I have had this problem a few times (with other plugs) and re-scanning generally solves the issue.

If Nora is not in the list you can try clicking the main "Rescan All" button.

Are you using a BETA copy of BWS? If so, you have found a bug and should report it to BWS via the BETA email (found in your beta invite). In doing so be sure to use the "Copy errors to clipboard" button and submit this along with your bug report.

If Nora was working fine before your clean install then something went awry during your installation process. You may want to consider un-installing Nora [Completely] and fresh install her.

At first there was an error, but as u suggested i have rescaned and its gone, but the problem persists.
I was on beta yes. But next i did try stable version - same thing happens.

To be clear : I can load nora to my new projects with no problems at all, its just she does not load back on my older projects with super cool melodies..

I did try same thing on laptop - same thing. Now im thinking maby nora saves her scores somewhere..not in bitwig, and since i have formated drive C..omg it cant be true ?

Hi,

I had to change the Nora VST (only in Windows) tag to an unique one in one of the lastest fixes releases, because it was causing conflicts with other DAWs. Maybe Bitwig is trying to locate the old Nora tag and that's the reason it cannot find it. I'm sorry for this, I had no other option here, it was my newbie mistake when I released Nora 1.0 :(

However you can still rescue your old projects. You have more information here:

Or you can email me directly to support [at] squaredheads [dot] com.

Is there a way in Nora to make the patterns play halftime / doubletime ?

I.e. DAW BPM is set to 120, can I make patterns in Nora play as if DAW BPM was set to 60 or 240 (without actually changing DAW BPM) ?

edit:
Found it, Options menue -> appregiator settings.
Nice ! :)

This may be a dumb question but is there a way to have Nora retrigger? Please let me know! This is instrumental to its potential IMO (pun intended).

Hi giacometti, go into your "Options Menu" then go to "Open arpeggiator settings..." and right in the middle to the right side, you will see a little clock icon. Turn this off, and it will not sync to the host, but instead the arpeggiator will retrigger by note only. This is the behavior you want.

Thanks! I'd tried that once before but I think it didn't work for me properly then because of Bitwig PDC or something. I'll work it out now that I know!
