I agree that Monark is quicker and less fiddly than Diva. You can dial in the basic sound in seconds. I think another Monark advantage is that you can combine Feedback and Load to create aggressive sounds that Diva can't match.
However, I think Monark could be greatly improved with velocity sensitivity, polyphony, and unison. Since you are not fixated on replicating the original, why keep these limitations? It would also be helpful if it displayed numeric values for the knobs somewhere -- particularly for oscillator detune.
