It did ? I don't think so.braj wrote:You guys are having some issues with logic, DarkStar's comment insinuated the release date wouldn't be till 2016 or later, 'October' alone being non-specific, and in that case Peter's comment made total sense.DarkStar wrote: The only release date that I've seen is "October" - so it might be the 1st or it might be the 31st.

No Darkstar's comment didn't insinuate any such thing.braj wrote: You guys are having some issues with logic, DarkStar's comment insinuated the release date wouldn't be till 2016 or later, 'October' alone being non-specific, and in that case Peter's comment made total sense.

That's it, man... Your account has been flagged to not allow an AmpliTube 4 registration until 2019! Keep it up and you'll wait that long for T-RackS 5.Teksonik wrote:Apparently it was..............Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:The joke isn't all that complex to follow

But to be serious, in case anybody isn't catching the humorous remarks we've been casting back and forth here, the preorder pricing is only good until AmpliTube 4 is released in October 2015 so it definitely is a limited time offer.

and to make sure that the thread reverts back to a typical KVR OT ramble ...Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:But to be serious, in case anybody isn't catching the humorous remarks we've been casting back and forth here, the preorder pricing is only good until AmpliTube 4 is released in October 2015 so it definitely is a limited time offer.
Technically, even if it was released in October 2016 or 17 .. it would still be a time limited offer
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

Sorry I thought I had circled back on this for you. I asked and it is a custom “IK” Power amp tailored to the preamp's behavior.Vasya Mishchenko wrote:Hey, Peter, as JMP-1 is a preamp only, I wonder if it was modelled in conjuction with any poweramp to drive a cab, and if any, then what was the model? Was it EL34-100/9200 type (in the regard of Marshallism)?

Ok, I see, though "IK" poweramp tells nothing specific to me. At least there is one for sure now. Thanx anyways.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Sorry I thought I had circled back on this for you. That would be because it doesn't exist in hardware form. It is a power amp created specifically for this model. You can hear how it sounds paired up with the preamp in the audio demos have have clean, rhythm/crunch, and lead/solo examples: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/am ... t4cs-audioVasya Mishchenko wrote:Ok, I see, though "IK" poweramp tells nothing specific to me. Snarky Commentor: How come all we get is models of existing gear ad nauseum? Geez, we have enough <insert amp vendor name> to fill a stadium. Come on, be creative and quit limiting yourself to RL stuff.
IK: Ok, here is a Marshall inspired pre...
Snarky Commentor: Yeah, but what model is it? How will I know if I'll like it if I can't compare it to the real thing?

Seems like your post is adressed to me in a hint-form. Well, I don't know why you feel so committed, maybe you are part-timing for IK, I couldn't care less. I asked Peter a question...no, I asked PETER a question, and not SJ_Digriz. I got an answer that I found not so clear and satisfying to me, nevertheless I shall leave it that way, because in the end I admit that if it sounds good as is, I'll be glad for everyone involved counting YOU.SJ_Digriz wrote:Snarky Commentor: How come all we get is models of existing gear ad nauseum? Now, do me a favour and pretend to miss this post.
