Facets within each of us. One gives, the other advertises. That's all.
But that really wasn't my original point.

Since my wife also joined in the bidding this year and won something which is a physical product, I'm a little compelled to check here occasionally for her. But I'd rather just filter out the "Instruments Sub-Forum" as I've been doing before the charity auction.
My original point was only to elassi about informing us of the second hand auction needs in the Market Place where we could simply let this 'tradition' continue and free those of us from having to scroll through it...

And to H-man: I knew you were joking, that's why I gave you a "you're welcome" in the same spirit. ;)

But you won something yourself from the same dev as me, better pay up, otherwise you will lag my license as Luftrum handles devs by 100% payment rate :uhuhuh:

Look to be honest, I scooped up a great VSTi at or below sale pricing. That the money went to charity made it all the easier to commit the cash.

I am aware that I am stating the obvious when I say that the the real heroes are the organisers and those that generously donated prizes (or just money) and I hope we all can agree that no amount of back patting is too much for them.

I've taken care of business.
My original comment was a request for elassi to post where it didn't have to be buried in this kind of thing. It is the reason I filter out this sub-forum as much as I can now.
Not really worth my time otherwise.

I thought about bidding on Acid8 again, but Therapsid + AY3 will give me plenty to play with for a while :D
I kind of expected another bid from you, it looked like you wanted all those nice little twisted electrons boxes for yourself :hyper:(I'd do the same if I had more money) but I was completely ready to reraise on either Acid8 or AY3. Anyway you will be well served in chiptune galore!

to Luftrum: I forgot to mention my postal address in my donation message. Should I PM it to you or wait to be contacted by the manufacturer?

In general I also love to sit on my high horse and condemn conspicuous charity, like when people post on facebook how they gave a homemade cupcake and a coat to a homeless person yesterday or companies make sure the world knows how much they've given to charities. However, since all bids are public here anyway, I can't see how you interpret people's messages as self-advertising in this case. I interpret the "I paid" and "added a bit extra" messages as a call to others to make their payments asap, too (since Luftrum shouldn't be forced to chase late payments) and make an effort to up the total a little bit more (which is what this charity auction is all about). In other messages generally people salute organiser Luftrum, the ones who donated products to auction off, and the effort of the community, not themselves or other bidders as individuals.

I fail to express my thoughts better than you did.

Your email will be passed to the "manufacturer" so they can contact you.

You've been contacted to provide name + shipping adress. The sooner you reply, the sooner Thomann can ship your goods. :)
I won the Push stand but haven't been contacted by Thomann yet.

Just wanted to let everybody know that I got my Linplug licenses today in my email box. Looks like processing is being done quickly so you should all have your stuff pretty soon.

Great job to all involved in making this happen.
