Thanks, I saw some yesterday, but as you said, they are dead :hihi:

Post

Hello all...After having collected up freeware VST mixers I came across the RARE Subtek CMX844. Very nice for small screens & netbooks & such.

Here it is-
http://www53.zippyshare.com/v/YQcRRs3A/file.html
OR
http://rghost.net/87dxyTStv
OR
https://www.sendspace.com/file/0xx6br

Doing a search here I found others looking for it in the past.

Just DL everything from MaXSynths...It's ALL free now. All the more reason to stay 32bit.

What happened to ODO

Just a break, or gone forever?

Does anyone have that old Chrisoph Bielen synth still? I was going through some older projects today and couldn't load quite a few of them because I used Uniretro and I don't have the .dll anymore.

Why not try some amazing fractal graphics for your art? I've got a site all about them at JWildfire Sanctuary

There is no reason to stay with a 32bit DAW. Just choose one that offers native bridging, such as Reaper.

32bit seems to provide enough ram to load and use EnergyXT2 and many great 32bit synths and effects
that sound just as good as 64bits. true, theres no reason to stay 32bit but why try to fix what aint broke?

then again, i use 32bit XPsp3 on my HP Elitebook with 3gb ram only as a DAW and web browser, not to
work on 64gb spreadsheets and 128gb video rendering projects.
HW SYNTHS [KORG T2EX - AKAI AX80 - YAMAHA SY77 - ENSONIQ VFX]
HW MODULES [OBi M1000 - ROLAND MKS-50 - ROLAND JV880 - KURZ 1000PX]
SW [CHARLATAN - OBXD - OXE - ELEKTRO - MICROTERA - M1 - SURGE - RMiV]
DAW [ENERGY XT2/1U RACK WINXP / MAUDIO 1010LT PCI]

I´ll second that - I have 32bit XP Sp3 with 3gb RAM on my desktop PC PIV, too. All plugs are working fine..
Why should I need 64-bit for my music-machine? For web-browsing etc. I have my notebook....

I can´t hear that anymore, as people says - no 32bit - all is bad....
Hey guys, use your brain, please - before you going to buy anything new, you will never need....
Except, you are using big samplelibraries with 50 GB and more?!
64-bit means no better audio quality - doesn´t mean no faster latency - but it means:
You could not even use all that good plugins (if bridging doesn´t work) - so happy days....

That´s the superficialness of the society nowadays - media hierarchy - when something is new -
the most people buy - old is bad - so buy those shitty VW every few years.
Someone says jump - you jump out of the window...
And I throw away my vintage keyboards - they are old too..... Minimoog - shit - oh man..... :hihi:

well said, and where is it all headed? people doing all their music entirely
on their 128bit daws running on their wristwatches from a 1 inch screen.
F that... i love to lay in bed and do music on my notebook with my wireless mouse
and Akai LPK25. but other times i love to sit at the cockpit of my full blown
hardware midi studio that only uses a computer to sequence and mix the audio.
