Reaper just lost First Place! :hihi:

One thing I noticed is that the Filters with Random don't move much. Is there a reason for?

it does speak volumes. about you. specifically your intellectual capacity.

you couldn't find the master volume, and you expect the dev (or anyone else for that matter) to take your belly aching seriously ?

trying to spin this so that it is an indictment of the GUI is simply laughable. ha ha!
Damn straight!

Every synth should change just to suit you Wags... That's how it comes across. Just because you're 58 and have bad eyes or some such first world problem. You complain endlessly...

You're the only man I've ever seen capable of taking, even the most simplest of threads, and then turning it into a gargantuan festering black hole.

Freakin' KVR is littered with you're burnt out neutron star threads.

We should start a new poll, just to see if we can now start talking about the sound…

It would be viable for the dev to open a forum over here and have separate topics, what do you guys think?

Here's a template for controlling this with NI Kore 2 - it maps very well to the 8knob/buttons interface, very logically laid out. Apart from a bug that affects morphing it works well played using Kore 2:

I would love to see an SPC Plugins area for sure! ArcSyn is just one of several of their plugins. I have not tried the others out, but it is only a matter of time.

It would allow us to create various threads about different issues...that way we don't have to thumb through six GUI complaints/answers before getting to another delicious patch from Simon.

LOL - I assume Steven from SPC will avoid KVR like the plague after what he encountered here in the last days, similar to UVI who refuse to open a forum here for exactly those reasons.

Usually I don't believe in the block-other-users-feature, but this thread has changed my mind and it actually works fine.

i've been using gater-pro for a number of years, it's very cool; that's what led me to try arcsyn (that, and the rave reviews on this thread). i said this earlier; if i can work with izotope's DDLY (a great plugin but as ugly as anything could be), i can certainly stare at arcsyn all day...

Me too... Gater-pro is a class little plugin. I can't think of a better gater off hand - it's my favorite at any rate. :tu:

ok, for those interested in this GUI, i did some more minor adjustments
while getting my hair cut at the barber shop today.

darkened the sliders a bit to match the knobs better and some
minor highlight detailing.

i am happy now the way it looks for my own use.
if Steve ignores me, i'll probably only share it with
those sending me a PM asking for it.

.......and shoot with the "i like the original better" comments

I'm surprised that it's missing some MSEG to complete the modulation madness.
You can easily build MSEGs using the different LFO shapes and numerous steps, chromatic sequences for pitch sequencing as well.
Not user friendly and not easy to fine tune. Doable but not desirable.
Then use a different synth! Why would the developer add every single feature to his synth just because some people only like it 50%? Arcsyn is it's own thing, it's unusual and eccentric, and it makes sounds and sound sequences that other synths can't touch. Building some of these modulations out of MSEGs would take an insane amount of time, and trying to make an MSEG type of modulation with Arcsyn's LFOs would probably lead to strange, serendipitous results. The ADSR envelopes cover vanilla sound shaping fine.

There are SO MANY synths, and this one is wonderful and refreshing. Trust KVR to drain all the fun out of it
