Please get a better reverb, the current one is a real weakness in an otherwise fantastic synth.
IMHO current reverb is great for ambience.

I don't need built-in reverb in a synth anyway
Great for what kind of ambience? Static metallic resonant ambience? Yes, that's true, other than that it just sounds crap.

That reverb is indeed atrocious. But i have read somewhere that Steve is trying to license better sounding reverb for it, hopefully it's this year.

Can't wait to check this out.

So far X-fer and U-he are becoming my two favourite small devs.

Ambient kind of ambience. As opposed to huge trance leads.

Anyway, if we still get better reverb coming, I can't complain

Agree! Unbelievably great products by both.

Looking forward to it! In the mean time i'm getting a lot good use from Serum FX.

Btw is there a way to separate normal Serum and Serum FX presets in the browser?
Right now i make my own folder for it but i thought maybe i'm missing something.

The new update has a category tag for Audio Effect. Fixing a few more small details, should be done very soon.
BTW, there's also a lot of graphic enhancements from Lance Thackeray - Serum is looking better than ever

A tag is fine but I hope it will continue to load all presets as effects as that is often the best way to find interesting combinations.

So we now have user accounts with a download page for the current Betas, is 1.09b4 the latest and greatest for Mac, as in the forum the latest is 1.05 and is 3 months old?

There's an old forum topic relating to a v1.05, but downloads are no longer in the forum, they are now found in "your account" section, they are always the latest and the release notes are contained there.

Yes of course, I agree! I underestimated how useful SerumFX is to me for putting on another track, e.g. a pad, and then surfing (only the effects from) Serum pad presets.
