That GUI looks great. Don't change it...except the wood sides extending past the end of the synth body at the top left and top right. That looks a bit funny. Otherwise I love it!

Actually I changed my mind...looking at the GUI some more it looks nicely balanced. Don't change any of it. That's a beautiful GUI!

I want that feline thing. Almost as much as the repro-1. I remember buying a creamware card once, just to run the WC emulation of the pro-one. a forum member created a free feline clone with the sdk, and I really liked it, although I have no idea how close it is to the original. time to hook up your xite again, eh?

There's three of them and they each have almost completely different circuitry:

Octave Cat
Octave Cat SRM
Octave Plateau Cat SRM II

As the name gets longer, the sound gets brighter and more refined - but not necessarily phatter. The first Cat was a blokey fella that roughed up the neighbourhood and had a cut throat resonance. Latter was kind of on or off experience. It was phat, but then, somehow lacked the elegance and precision of a well groomed ninja cat. The second one is the phat one in the bunch and the only synthesizer who sported the famous SSM2040 chip other than the original Prophet 5 revs 1 & 2. The SRM is probably the phattest sounding vintage analogue synth ever. But then came along the SRM II which somehow managed to leave the rough edges of its grandma behind with it's Moog-ladder-inspired SSM2044 filter chip - which gave it a more expensive and glam sound, albeit not as big a meow as its predecessor.

We have all 3 in immaculate condition and it would be a crime against fans of the Stranger Things soundtrack if we didn't consider doing these.

Nothing was officially decided yet, but last time we discussed it, we were aiming for sub $100.

I'm just wondering - from Re-Pro Alpha you continued working on filter No.3. But filter No.4 & No.1 made some interesting sounds that you could not really get with filter 3. I also liked filter 2. So will Re-Pro have a way to tweak the filter to do some similar things?

Whats in that Tweaks tab anyways?
