Just be patient until Synapse is ready for the initial release. They obviously were not ready yet.

It's not like it has been hacked in anyway, anybody with some google tricks up their sleeve can get hold of it.

It's almost a year since the last big 2.5 update. Hopefully they will come up with an update soon, taking benefit of the Legend development. It's going to be a great Xmas present.recursive one wrote:improved its engine based on their new researches instead

Someone compared Legend with his Moog Sub-37 on the Reasontalk forums: http://www.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php ... 79#p283479

This thing sounds way too good! I was never fond of DIVA or Monark or any other minimoog emulation in the past. This thing, though, sounds epic to my ears. I am not even thinking in the Model D reissue I was so close to order. I am glad it's Synapse who did it, cause I adore DUNE 2 as well.
Congrats Synapse!

What really impresses me is that the CPU consumption seems to be pretty low (at least for the RE, according to people who demo'd it) for that kind of sound quality. That's actually something Monark or Diva cannot claim.

Don't confuse loudness with sound quality. Loudness either indicates arrogance or insecurity.

To my ears this sounds closer to the real thing than Monark. It's the filter resonance which makes the difference. It's just so close that you will get more variation between individual hardware units built at different times. I think we finally have the definitive Moog emulation. No reason to spend $3,000 anymore on a Model D.

I just talked to Richard (from Synapse Audio) and he allowed that i mention that while the Rack Extension is already available at the Propellerheads shop the VST/AU version will maybe take a few days while he tries to officially release this ASAP. The fastest possible would be between tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday.
