All 5 were the same filter model, but they use different math algorithms to get there, each creating specific artifacts. What we refine is the model itself. The various algorithms may now produce slightly different artifacts.spunkmuffin wrote:I'm just wondering - from Re-Pro Alpha you continued working on filter No.3. But filter No.4 & No.1 made some interesting sounds that you could not really get with filter 3. I also liked filter 2. So will Re-Pro have a way to tweak the filter to do some similar things?
A few jumpers that help with things people might find odd, e.g. the fact that the LFO sawtooth is ramping up.Whats in that Tweaks tab anyways?
But also, we modeled slight variations that occur in oscillators, filters and envelopes. Each Pro-One sounds slightly different depending on part tolerances and calibration. We offer some under-the-hood variations, as per http://urs.silvrback.com/specimen
