Hi countrymen,
I am a MIDI guitarist,
and was thumbing through my Kontakt libraries looking for a nylon classical.
The default in Kontakt is, IMO, sampled improperly.
So I found your newish offering.
Just downloading it now.
Was really impressed by the demos.
I will be back with an opinion on how well it plays this week,
in this thread.
Thank you 8D

Thanks for taking an interest!
If you have any ideas for improvements, please don't hesitate to tell us. We're always looking for ways to make our libraries (and future ones) even better.
Heck, if anyone reading this has ideas, tell us!

I don't have anything revolutionary(will think about it),
I think good samples libraries are made by hours of careful recording and tedious editing,
but I thought I should say what's wrong with NI's offerings of nylon classical and fiddle.
At velocity 127 they both use slides from a fifth or a whole tone(not sure) upwards. I felt that wasn't what I am looking for.
To be fair, Kontakt is an amazing body of work-
I am particularly liking the Kora from 3. The new Kora is nice to have too-
but I like the prior one's simplicity in that it is no frills and has fast attack-it's better for soloing than the one in 5
Would you ever consider making a didge?
I would be interested, not so much for playing on guitar or keyboard-
but sequencing for sure. Or is this one too much down to a player's articulation?
You can pitch it by changing the length-
ie. one pvc pipe inside another.
Sorry for carrying on so much, I have Rosella on my thumb now, will go check it.

Hey again 8D,
I have played it for about an hour now.
Will read the manual to set it not to make any string noise,
but would appreciate if you told me.
Is it simply unchecking the 'string engine'?
Also-
I would appreciate it if you could take it for a spin in EnergyXT,
I have a problem with the 'Error:Samples not loaded flag'
This will appear after 20 sec of playing,
AFAIK the samples are definitely loaded,
it is just a cosmetic thing and doesn't affect the sound of my playing.
If you would pm me the editing pass,
I can fix it myself- I could just delete the flag.
I don't expect you to do that, but it's an option.
Otherwise- it's beautiful and I'm happy I have it.
TY!
For anyone looking at the classical Kontakt libraries-
the default one in the 'Band' folder only slides on vel 127,
it works fine on 126.
edit:
I can't figure out how to turn sustain off. It sounds lush,
but the staccato mode isn't working 4 me.
For more realism, it could be nice to have.
Is this just the character of the instrument-
or what should I do?

Fret noise is found on the 'options' tab on the left. Click it and you should see a knob named 'fret noise'. Putting that to 0 should remove the string noise.

String Engine is for the instrument treating incoming notes as if they're on strings. In other words, having it on means notes on the same string don't bleed into each other.
Are you having problems with EnergyXT? Or is that just what you use?
The error sign is purely cosmetic, as you said, and is MEANT to tell you if you haven't loaded samples in...but obviously, it's decided to play some other games. We'll get onto fixing that and have it ready for a future update. But otherwise, it shouldn't affect playing.
In order to use staccato, you have to load it up and use it as a keyswitch (C#0). The black block in the 'articulations' column should show you which keyswitch is chosen, so if it says 'staccato', staccato will be next. Same with all the other articulations, loading them is fine, but you'll need to use keyswitches to actually play them.

Thanks very much for the invaluable feedback and I hope I've helped you here! Let me know if there are any other issues you find or think should be included in the future.
