Can someone direct me in how to use Blue Arp inside Logic Pro X ?
I already have copied the Blue Arp component file to its right folder.
Just don't know how to call it and configure it inside Logic Pro.
Thank you.
For LPX, you need "MFX or MIDI-FX" version of BlueARP, not VST
Copy it into components folder.
In Logic itself, there's a 'MIDI-FX' slot on each instrument track. There, select Audio Units -> graywolf2004 -> BlueARP.midiFX.x64

Echoes in the Attic wrote:...Some nice skins posted above - Sorry i haven't read this very long thread but how do we load downloaded skins? I guess it won't matter once you release 2.4 if it has the above ones (the white and the grey). But in the mean time I wouldn't mind downloading that grey one if possible, but don't see a download and not sure how to install it once downloaded...
On Windows - place skins ini file into "skins" folder, located in the same folder as BlueARP.dll.
On OSX - the same, but skins folder is inside the component. Right-click on component (or vst file), -> Show Package Contents. Go to Resources -> Skins. Place skins ini file next to default.ini

Thank you so much Graywolf!

I want to congratulate you on you fabulous work with this arp / step sequencer that must have given you a lot of work to complete and perfect. And thank you for sharing with us all your program.

It is a powerful tool and above all, a really easy one to work with. I managed to put it working inside Logic Pro. Really easy and great to work with. I also love trance music and trance patterns.

As soon as I can I will donate in your site to help you also.

Thank you once again!
From Portugal,
Eduardo

Is there any prospect of improving the timing accuracy of BlueARP? I know that it's not that crucial for performance, but it sometimes causes problems when using it as a sequencer. Notes can always be quantised after recording the passages, but at 256 samples buffer the timing jitter is sometimes big enough to affect the rhythmical feel and thus sound design and other decision-making before recording.

v2.2.4 has introduced some strange behaviour when GATE TIME is 100%

Is there Arpeggio Presets for download besides the Factory?

I'm on half way to release a bank including basslines, chorders & hook lines. Will dropbox it in this thread.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Any chance Nova Control will ever be able to import patches? It would really be amazing if it could.

Thanks!

Oh. I think it looses some notes when note off for the previous one and note on for the next come just at the same time. Setting gate to 95% fixes it (i have buffer size = 128 samples at 48 kHz)
I'll look into this.
PS. Fixed in v2.2.5. Added separater logic for immediate note re-triggering. Thanks for pointing this out.

I'm pretty sure no, sorry. I just dont have time for everything and BlueARP is a priority.
However, I released the source code of NovaControl (made with SynthMaker, now Flowstone) on sourceforge, so anyone can pick it up to modify it, study it or whatever you want.

Greetings,

I am here to talk to you about a special project that we, Graywolf, Phreaque and I, are undertaking. This project, led by the newly born "BlueARP Implementers Forum" (in spite of a better name :D), is a hardware version of BlueARP.

Indeed this will be a hardware piece of electronic containing BlueARP embedded on a chip (yet to decide), and fully usable with your hardware Synth... Or just your DAW if you just want a controller for the VST version :)

This will indeed be a resource and labor intensive project, which is why you can submit your help to me, in whatever shape it may be. That can range from good old fashion hype spreading, donating a few hours of your time towards software/hardware engineering, to even donating some ressources. We will keep a donator's wall for our donators to the project. Any contribution is sorely needed and much appreciated.

I will soon be launching a Kickstarter to raise some funds, while Phreaque will try to gain support from other companies interested in the project.

Anything can be achieved, but only with your help. If you are interested, contact me by email at dj.daemonix@nodsoft.net

Thank you everyone, and long live BlueARP.
