I had the best result with "in quantize" set to NONEerresse wrote:hello to all.
BUT, i tried many configuration with bluearp, i cannot do the same.
Any explanation ? am i wrong in my configuration in bluearp, or is it a limitation in the vst ?
Many thanks for your answers .. and long life to greywolf !

Check out the patches I uploaded on page 73 of this thread. Loads of JMJ stuff in there!erresse wrote:hello to all.
I am a very happy new user of the bluearp vst.
It is greaaaat
As a fan of JMJ, i am trying to make equinoxe sequence ...
But i cannot get the trill effect (listen to equinoxe 5 for example).
This effect is done with some glide from the synth, and , i suppose, by retrigerring the note when played from the keyboard, by the sequencer.
this is more or less what is done here:

Hello erresse, and welcome to BlueARP
As old user of BlueARP, i believe that it may just be simple mistakes. The pattern shown on video is easily recreated onto BlueARP, with the use of program chains if my memory serves me well as for the complexity of the sequence.
If you wish, i'd be happy to introduce you myself to BlueARP over Skype as two fervent fans of JMJ. My skype is "starlight_5628".
Any questions that i may not be able to respond to (notably dev-related), feel free to pester Graywolf. He'll be happy i believe to help a fellow user of his plugin
In the meantime, happy composing

erresse You took some time off my sleep )
But anyway, here it is:
For me it sounds more like pitch bending rather than note gliding.
I cant easily use the same technique with shortly pressing key at -2 semitones from the root, but pitch bend does pretty the same job.

Yeah, seems to be a solution too, I didn' think of it ) But anyway, pitch bend (range = +/- 2 semitones) did the job for me.Yeager wrote:erresse wrote:hello to all.

PS. Just tried it - when the synth is in mono/legato mode, works the same good )

Hello, how can i load this in BlueArp? I tried the standard way in Cubase 8.5 on Win 7 but they do not load.Opax wrote:Famous Arps & Basses by Opax v1.2 is now available. Now featuring (more) patches from:

Created using OS X AU version 2.2.1b, and tested in OS X 64-bit VST version 2.2.1b.
Kudos to Oleg for the great plug-in.

Make sure you're using the latest version of BlueArp. I've tested the banks on v2.2.4 AU and they work fine. It should be a case of (from within BlueArp plug-in window):BasariStudios wrote:Hello, how can i load this in BlueArp? If they don't load you might want to liaise with Oleg as to why they don't. I don't use windows at home.
Let me know what you think of the patches if you get them to work.
I'll eventually get round to dropping v1.3. Got some new patches in the works, but I'm open to ideas, suggestions, requests, etc. The good thing is they will be in one bank since Oleg increased the number of patches within a bank from 64 to 128.

Hi all and merry Christmas to everyone.
I'm now spending most of my free time holding soldering iron, cause Im creating hardware prototype for BlueARP (btw you can see it in lower left corner of the video).
A lot of work is already done, but still not enough to present it out. I think around february next year I'll show something really interesting.
Some minor additions to software BlueARP, but still not worth a new release.
And meanwhile, a new performance - Magic Scales part3 "Lucid Dream". Around 2 monts I perfected it, so here it is. As usual, all the sequencing is done with BlueARP.

Regarding the hardware version of Blue Arp: have you thought, once you've made a hardware prototype, of developing it for Eurorack format? That's a market that would certainly be interested hardware and while there are many sequencers available in that world there are very few Arppegiators. Just a suggestion, but maybe worth pursuing.graywolf2004 wrote:Hi all and merry Christmas to everyone.

Hi. Basically it's too early for this question (depends on my success with prototype and whom I will cooperate with or will do all the stuff myself). But anyway thanks for suggestion.yemski wrote:graywolf2004 wrote:Hi all and merry Christmas to everyone.

Greetings gentlemen,
Just to share wih you the twin sister of Oleg's last video :
The whole thing was improvised on the spot, to the sole exception of the patterns, which are for the most part Oleg's.
I kept the original Magic Scales drums and changed a few chord progressions, compared to original.
Enjoy, all

Sorry for an absolute noob question but just could not find it out with the manual or by trying.
How can I make blue arp play arp ("arp enabled") but only when there is a midi note/chord coming in ? It just wont stop playing in arp enabled mode, also midi in has long stopped.
My config is a standalone app (sundog)-loop midi-standalone app (freestyle) with blue arp as first input. I now it must be something easy I just have overseen but
