For instance when I play the same two notes up and down the keyboard, the glide direction seems to be wrong at times, i.e. as I go down on the keyboard, the pitch bend sometimes comes from below rather than above.
See, this is what I'm talking about. You've already made it clear that you have no interest in this synth and that there is stuff you don't. Nobody is now responding to something you said. You've initiated yet another complaint about something that somebody posted.

You do this all the time.

You can't see that?

Not in particular for this synth, but i use that for percusive FM sounds quite a lot.

Well, I just tried it in the demo version and like with other synths I know, the result of poly glide/portamento can be somewhat inconsistent.

Since I tried it with Legend, it is not even off-topic. So no idea what your problem is, frankly...

Whether I intend to buy it or not is totally irrelevant.

The point is, you come off as a constant complainer. It is non stop. Somebody points out a feature of a synth and you have a problem with it.

I gotta ask. Are there any synths at all that you TRULY love?

Maybe it has to do with the slightest offset between the individual fingers/notes when playing chords.
In other words, maybe it would help to have a resolution control so that one can set a certain max offset (in the ms range) within which notes played are still considered to be played at exactly the same time.

*waiting for Wag's reply* :dog:

The poly-glide/portamento on this particular synth, isn't working properly (yet) as far as i know.
It doesn't matter if you set the synth to do RR or retrigger.
I believe Richard is aware of this btw. Not sure if it will be fixed though.

Please stop throwing this kind of stuff into this thread and PM the guy. No need to 'fight' like little schoolgirls in the open, imho.

I'm not sure why you'd be waiting for my reply. I haven't personally noticed any problems with the glide so I can't comment on it.

There was a fix with the current update already. It might be further improved in the future if necessary.
Glide/Portamento in poly mode seems to work better than with older versions here.

Nope, of course not.

Thanks for being honest. And with that, I got all the information that I need.

This will be the last of our communication in these threads because it has become increasingly obvious, at least for me, that I'm never going to read anything positive coming from you in any of these threads. I haven't yet and I don't expect that to change. I'd be a fool to.

So, I am going to start making use of the ignore list. This isn't personal. Like you said, you're a friendly enough guy and you certainly don't go out of your way to insult people, but your posts simply don't inspire me. They don't inform me. They don't even entertain me. In fact, they do nothing but bring me down. So I need to put a stop to it.

No point in responding as I won't see it.

But I wish you no ill will or anything like that.

And I hope someday you find a synth you really like and rediscover your love for making music.

Over and out.

Post

Why on earth would I even try to inspire or entertain people? Being a perfectionist, I indeed focus on potential bugs and the more negative aspects of products so that ideally they get [even] better.
This is not some online shrink or synth-hugger forum
