I just laid hands on a Nord Lead 1. Seems perfectly functional other than grimey keys, especially in the corners and sides.

Whats the best way to give this a proper scrub?

Damp cloth with mild soapy solution you'd use for anything in the house. Washing-up liquid (dilated in water as usual) also works wonders on finger grease.

Just don't soak it wet (damp cloth only)

you can gently dismantle the key bed and soak the lot of them in a bucket. the key contacts (under the gray rubber strip) clean with alcohol if you get an eyelash or something on the contact, if that ever needs cleaning. logistics of keyboard = keep track of the special keys that go on the ends..

Warm soapy water & a damp cloth. Household detergent (washing up liquid) will be fine.

The only ace tone on this synth is the sound. Thanks.

I'll try to get the chassis off as xosos suggested and drop the keybed in a mild cleaner to get the grit off the sides of the keys.

Contacts seem fine for the time being!

Love this synth so far.
