Love MJC's work.. 2 oscillators - one 2 octaves above the other by the sound of it. Could either be triangle or filtered down square. Sounds like there is unison (at least on the higher octave). Short decay and then fed into some long tail reverbs (reverbs quite low and pushed into the background). There's a subtle delay there too.
The thing with trying to match sounds in commercial tracks (especially dance music) is that it's likely to have been through multiple stages of processing - all fattening, saturating and squashing things - this will make it hard to nail it. Good luck though.

Sounds like there's some noise component in there too - some soft pink noise filtered down maybe.
