Unknown delay.

So basically i just got a second 8 channel interface and im connecting them through adat and when i use the adat connection theres an input delay on my daw. I use fl studio so i dont know how the other programs work. On the daw it says that my latency is only 8 ms, but i still get a delay and i dont really know what the problem could be.

Interfaces: Focusrite scarlett 18i20 (Master clock)
Phonic 808u (Slave)
