They are in the Emulator X section here: http://analoguesque.x10host.com/

Hope you guys enjoy them - they were done with Emulator X and originally had zero FX. I tried to add a some but it was a bit of a rush job and the EmuX FX are not that great. I'm sure you'll find some stuff you can use though.

Let me know how you use them.
Thanks for this, good choice on avoiding the Emu X effects. I always thought they were pretty crap and not up to the quality of the rest of the architecture, I've never used them personally...

Cool, thanks! I just grabbed them!

Just bought this to use with my old trusty Emu 1212m which is now in my ryzen system.

Just wondering how to set groups for hihats so they stop playing when open or the foot pedal is played and not overlap?

You just bought this from Digitalproaudiosamples.com? Did you have any problem activating it?

Cool! I have to buy it now. Did you get the version with the samples or without?

I don't think there's a way to assign "groups" for the purposes you want, so that triggering one chokes off the other. The Emulator X3 has some very good modulation options and many MIDI-controllable parameters, but it lacks any real "programming" features. Considering the plug-in is over 10 years old, I think it's still pretty good for what it does--especially considering it's mostly used for samples from even older hardware instruments.

That said, you could probably assign a MIDI key (or controller) to the volume/level of a hi-hat sound or the sustain or release of a hi-hat sample, so that hitting that key (or controller) drops the volume or cuts off the sustain/release of the sample.

There are 36 modulation/controller sources and destinations when editing the samples, so you should be able to set something up so that hitting the closed (or foot) hi-hat key mutes or cuts off the sustain or release of the open hi-hat sample.

Once you have that set, you could make Groups of the samples, if you want to have more than one open hi-hat sound getting choked off by other hi-hat sounds. You have up to four Groups available in the Voice Processing mode.

For anyone thinking of buying Emulator X3 it seems you can no longer authorize it offline. I've sent several emails trying to authorize it with no response. I now have an unusable piece of software, not happy. :!:  :dog:

Where did you buy your copy? Was it from Digitalproaudiosamples.com?

Wat? I think the programming manual and advanced programming manual together are about 500 pages? If you look into it you're sure to find that this thing can go pretty deep when it comes to programming.

No, I authorized offline previously by sending an email as instructed on the box to creative and recieving a response code. It seems that option is no longer available and you can only authorize online.I tried a new email address that I found in a forum support@emu.com but no reply from them.

I had Emulator X2 originally. I bought Emulator X3 cheap after it was discontinued, so it was probably Digitalproaudiosamples but it was several years ago I bought X3.
