I'm not sure which page you mean. One of our guys has researched this using various sources.
The Arturia V3 synths are examples of a well thought out preset browser.
Agreed, with the exception that they show a lot of information but only very few presets at a time (the ones I tried)
I meant to say the tweaks page.

It's been finished for a while, but somehow there was a timing issue with the integration of the new preset browser

That said, the worst crashes seem contained, there is progress and everyone at u-he can't wait to get this out!
Just make sure that Elektronisch has to wait an extra week longer than everybody else as punishment

If ya'all haven't figured out how Urs operates by now, you need to wake up and smell the coffee.

Nobody was ACTUALLY fooled by the little joke, right?

The DX-7 has 16 voices, the CS-30 has one, so why shouldn't Repro-5 have 8? :clown:
Or 16 :hyper:

Post

I also thought it has 5 voices. The original had 5, right? Of course, no reason to not have more in software. :)

It made sense at the time for hardware but for computers I guess making use of that 2x4 cpu scaling trick makes more sense (other u-he synths and The Legend do the same)

(ie 8 voices is just as easy as 5)

Post

I hope it would be just as easy to bump the polyphony to 12 or 16 in an update. :)

Post

The later 8 voice Prophet T8 introduced MIDI and touch sensitivity which will both feature - one hopes - in Repro-5.

Haven't gotten any emails about the beta, but very excited to try it out. Any idea when those emails will be going out?

You won't get one, you have to be at KVRAF level before you get the pre-beta beta email. You might be able to do it, but you'll have to do a LOT of posting over the next few days.

That's too bad. I'd assumed they were going out to all customers/newsletter subscribers.

That was a joke.

And u-he almost always beta test internally first anyway so this newsletter beta theory seems unlikely
