They could call it Timbre Wolf and it will still sound the same.

A minor gripe is that there isn't sufficient gain on the output knob to volume match high resonance and low/no resonance presets. Using the Sonic Conditioner is a work around, but not without drawbacks (preset browsing with fx disabled).

Zebra 3 will have 3 voices then?
Call it Repro-X. Open for upgrades.
Oh, are we there yet?
Soon....good.
But still it doesn´t matter how many voices. I just copy it until my cpu breaks or i´m happy.
Try that with hardware.

Take your hardware synth and record yourself playing a part. Then record another part... and anotherCinebient wrote:Zebra 3 will have 3 voices then?![]()

Yeah, but i´m talking about real-time not recorded parts, but you know that of coursepdxindy wrote:Take your hardware synth and record yourself playing a part. Then record another part... and anotherCinebient wrote:Zebra 3 will have 3 voices then?![]()

But sometimes mono should just stay mono.
I mean i did a 8-voice Repro-1 template but of course it sounds just too massive with most patches then. The same with Reaktor blocks. If you make them polyphonic it will just sound terrible.

I'm sure you are not playing various softsynth instances in realtime. You are recording midi... which means recorded parts (like audio).Cinebient wrote:Yeah, but i´m talking about real-time not recorded parts, but you know that of coursepdxindy wrote:Take your hardware synth and record yourself playing a part. Also, sure some presets on RePro-1 or hardware monosynth would not sound great as polyphonic, but plenty would. That is up to the person designing the sound.

But it´s not the same. I can record them all as one instrument in one take. But i can´t do that with one hardware mono synth.pdxindy wrote:I'm sure you are not playing various softsynth instances in realtime. But however, i see a reason for the great mono synth Repro-1 and the polyphonic Repro-5.
Now i only need a more powerful computer to run that all

I'm subscribed to the newsletter but don't think i got any, anyone care to post the subject line, then I can do a proper search. I can now see that I got one a while back with subject line "u-he news: Hive Science 2, Diva update and Superbooth". Should I assume only Repro-1 owners got that email?
Do we know what the Repro 1 + 5 bundle will cost for us poor souls who still isn't on the Repro-1 bandwagon? Would be neat to snitch a Repro-1 license before 5 is out

The upgrade for existing users from RePro-1 to RePro-1 + RePro-5 will be free, so $99. The full price for RePro-1 + RePro-5 is likely to be between $129 and $149 with the possibility of an intro price.mrj1nx wrote:I'm subscribed to the newsletter but don't think i got any, anyone care to post the subject line, then I can do a proper search. Just remember: you have no idea how RePro-5 will run on your machine. So if you want to get in early, demo RePro-1 and ask yourself, "is this worth $99 to me as is?" If the answer is yes, buy it. If you're not sure, then wait until you can demo both.

I think I'll wait a bit since repro-1 is not a main priorityfor me and grab the bundle later. I feel bad that my last 4 u-he licenses was bought second hand so this way I can pass some more money directly to u-he when I decide to grab it

Just curious to know if the plan has at all changed from what Urs had previously stated about there being an overlap in price during the beta for 5.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:The upgrade for existing users from RePro-1 to RePro-1 + RePro-5 will be free, so $99. During beta testing it will still be called "Repro-1" on our website, priced at 99$. Thus the beta period becomes kind of an introduction/beta offer.vvilms wrote:Just curious to know if the plan has at all changed from what Urs had previously stated about there being an overlap in price during the beta for 5.
