Amazona seems to be stuck in the moebius ("when you reach that point whatever happens will happen again")
Still listing Crystal, U-No-62 and Triangle II in the top five

The GUI on the LX is far bigger, it has a patch manager and a lot more parameters to tweak too.Bump1 wrote:Is the main difference between U-No-62 and U-No-62-LX the arpeggiator??Numanoid wrote:Amazona seems to be stuck in the moebius ("when you reach that point whatever happens will happen again")

WOW! 856 pages of replies!!! i totally agree with the "abandonware archive" idea in the original post. years ago, i spent a couple months collecting popular "distinctive sounding" VSTs and collecting my favorites in demos and treasured a few of the VSTs that i'd seen go extinct like one cheesy sounding mallet modeling VST that sounded pretty unique and perfect for the kind of playful vibe music i'd like to do.
going through this thread will take forever, but hopefully i can collect some stuff that suits my tastes i wouldn't be able to otherwise if i ever get a DAW.

Where can I download X3MIDI? The link is broken, and it's not on the Wayback Machine. I posted in a separate thread, but so far nobody has come up with it.

X3MIDI three versions; they all show DEMO on the GUI but it had to be unrestricted to be allowed as an entry into the DC2014. And the enclosed texts all state "private use only" but that seems to go against the spirit of the DC to me.
