Hello.
On Cubase stereo delay I click on synch and then I usually sets 1/4 or 1/8.
How to set 1/4 or 1/8 on Voxengo tempo delay, please?
I click synch then I have those bpm/mult buttons.
:/

Yeah it's not obvious but the delay time is set in percentage to the host BPM. So divid your bpmd by 4 or 8 and set delay accordingly.
MXLinux21, 16 Gig RAM, Intel i7 Quad 3.9, Reaper 6.42, Behringer 204HD or Win7 Steinberg MR816x

Thank You.Boone777 wrote:Yeah it's not obvious but the delay time is set in percentage to the host BPM. So divid your bpmd by 4 or 8 and set delay accordingly.
So haven't I to tweak the bpm/multi 4 - 4 buttons?
Only divide the bpm and unlock bpm synch?
Edit: Ah ok.
I click host bpm, then In the cannel delay I divide the value, is this right?

Use Host BPM
BPM/Multy 4/4 rep period 100% gives 1/4 , BPM/Multy 4/4 rep period 50% gives 1/8
BPM/Multy 4/2 rep period 100% gives 1/8 , BPM/Multy 4/2 rep period 200% gives 1/4
BPM/Multy 4/4 rep period 150% gives 1/4D
BPM/Multy 4/2 rep period 150% gives 1/8D
BPM/Multy 4/1 rep period 100% gives 1/16
BPM/Multy 4/1 rep period 150% gives 1/16D
The delay delays the first delay If you set it to 300 4/4 rep period 100% the first delay will be heard on the fourth bar.
You could use BPM/Multy 4/3 but I can't get my head around that yet
BPM/Multy 4/4 rep period 100% gives 1/4 , BPM/Multy 4/4 rep period 50% gives 1/8
BPM/Multy 4/2 rep period 100% gives 1/8 , BPM/Multy 4/2 rep period 200% gives 1/4
BPM/Multy 4/4 rep period 150% gives 1/4D
BPM/Multy 4/2 rep period 150% gives 1/8D
BPM/Multy 4/1 rep period 100% gives 1/16
BPM/Multy 4/1 rep period 150% gives 1/16D

Dotted note :mementus wrote:Good one! ^^
What D stands for?
1/4D is 1/4+1/8
1/8D is 1/8+1/16
Use it, it's very musical

I just quoted myself in stead of editing
BONUS : BPM/Multy 4/4 rep period 33.3% gives 1/4T (Triplets)
BONUS : BPM/Multy 4/4 rep period 33.3% gives 1/4T (Triplets)

Sorry to wake up this thread, but I cannot get it done myself:
Could someone tell the settings for a 1/8d pingpong delay please???
I tried with the factory stereo ping pong preset, set it to host bpm with 4/2 modifier...
in the delay and gain settings, I set left to 150 and tried different settings for the right one:
set to 75... chaos
set to 300... chaos
set to 150... normal stereo delay
But nothing was really in sync... i.e. both to 150: the first delay was relatively slow...following ones much faster...
Same what I wrote with: Chaos... the first delay might have been in sync but latter ones were stumbling...
Don´t know, what I shall do anymore

Hold on .... take the 4/4 ping pong preset and put the multi to 2/3 , I think thats it
You could also set the R delay to 100 so it does not play on the first note/beat.
Previous answer before the edit :
I tried and tried, and came up with nothing
at time modifier 4/4
What you want is that the first repetition is
L at delay 75 with a period of 75 (1/8D)
R the next repetition should be at delay 150 also with a period of 75 (1/8D)
This works with NO FEEDBACK so you get C L R and that's it.
When you up the feedback L is overtaking R and they play at the same time (in the center LR at the same time)
So AFAIK this can not be done with anything Dotted or Tripled.
