Super psyched to release this gesamtkunstwerk - the best film noir soundtrack I can think of...
Assassinous Act - soundtrack for a fictitious thriller
This album sinks deep into your consciousness like coffins sink into the tomb.
Foreboding moods of eerie scenes in smoky twilight.
Thrilling scenes unveiling tragic affairs.
Menacing moments reaching a visceral intensity.
Blood-curdling noise eruptions bear witness to merciless deeds.
Yet there's also a transcending liberating power which brings equilibrium.
CD purchaseable and all 13 tracks now streamable on Bandcamp:
https://timereleasedsound.bandcamp.com/ ... sinous-act
Extracts:

The follow-up of my last-year's album "Brach Auf", to be released in August on Time Released Sound.
Highly criminal sounds, highly criminal package:
In the deluxe edition, the CD will come in an evidence bag with mug shot, capsule, fingerprints, etc.

These are both very cool Morgan.
I prefer the second one... Especially the bass and piano. Lots of great sounds!
Best of luck with your album...
Well done!
Cheers,
John

nice ambience and frequency spectrum control, kind of random instrumentation, ie; zero melodic content.
but i guess being soundtrack stuff it doesn't need to be.

As soundtracks they work very well. Good spooky, thriller atmosphere.

Thanks a ton, John! I'm Wolfgang, btw., 'Morgen' is 'tomorrow' in German. The project title means something like 'talking about the future as if it already happened'.Allomerus wrote:These are both very cool Morgan.
Thanks, Layzer - I promise epic melodies in other tracks of this albumlayzer wrote:nice ambience and frequency spectrum control, kind of random instrumentation, ie; zero melodic content.

Interesting pieces. Reminds me of the atmosphere up north on a cold winter day at the seaside. May not be your intention but this comes to my mind if I listen here..

Melodic approaches in the gloaming... Track 5 (extract) added in the first post.
It's time to introduce my brilliant accomplice - the violinist Georges-Emmanuel Schneider

On this track, he plays the electric violin: the bassline, the melody in the second part as well as sound effects.
He performed on several CDs playing Bach, Bartok, Berg, Debussy, and contemporary composers so far.

Huge thanks, man! This goes pretty well along with my intention of a soundtrack for a film noirhtcnext2 wrote:Interesting pieces. Reminds me of the atmosphere up north on a cold winter day at the seaside. May not be your intention but this comes to my mind if I listen here..
