Those are the modules in Diva to recreate a Jupiter 8 or Jupiter 6 (additional HPF in series usable for both):fluffy_little_something wrote:Maybe they changed the oscillator section because they realized there is not that much point in combining those waveforms, not least because all 4 share the same octave setting, so no subosc usage. The J8 has noise on one osc.
I also prefer the filter configuration of the J8, the same as on the Juno. The additional HPF is useful. Somehow I never use BPF or HPF on a synth, even when they are there.
Will check out the Jupiter sound in Diva, which I think I still have, the demo that is![]()
The guy in the video only used two saws judging from the lights. There is some ripping character to the sound, rough but not in a negative way. It's hard to recreate on plugins somehow![]()
A) Jupiter 8:
- "Dual VCO" (Jupiter 8 could only use a single waveform at once)
- "HPF Pre" (= simple non resonant Highpass filter located before the LPF)
- VCF "Cascade" (= 24dB and 12dB Lowpass)
- "analog" ADSR Envelope module for Amp and VCF
B) Jupiter 6:
- "Dual VCO" (Jupiter 6 could use multiple or all waveforms at once using the buttons)
- "HPF Pre" (= simple non resonant Highpass filter located before the multimode filter)
- VCF "Multimode" (= 24dB Lowpass, 12dB Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass)
- "digital" ADSR Envelope module for Amp and VCF
The "C" buttons in the digital ADSR envelope seems to activate a different shape/curve that might be useful.

UPDATE:
An Eurorack module called JOVE by the developer System80 that is inspired by the Jupiter-6 multimode filter is available now.
Here is a demo video:
The 12dB LPF mode seems to based on that in Jupiter-8, not the Jupiter 6. Not sure how far this is similar in the 12dB LPF in the multimode module of Diva as Diva alraedy has a dedicated Jupiter 8 filter ("Cascade" module).
This is a video about another DIY Jupiter-6 based multimode filter, again in Eurorack format:
2 demos of the real Jupiter-6 by the same developer:
UPDATE:
At the beginning of this video you see Urs from U-He playing a Juno-60 and on top of that there is his Jupiter-6:
