Hi,

You might like to check out our solution. We make a ControllerHub 8 product that lets you connect up to eight of your favorite 3rd-party controllers such as expression pedals, footswitches, sustain pedals, etc. The controller movements are converted to MIDI CC messages and sent out over both USB and 5-pin MIDI. It's a way to add all kinds of MIDI controllers to existing audio setups.

I can answer any questions you might have.

Resurrecting an old thread since I'm in the same boat. Does anyone have experience using the Source Audio Reflex as a DAW controller? It's expensive, and might be overkill for this problem, but I'm kinda tempted since I could later perhaps move it to my pedal board...

I use a Physis K4 with a dual exp from Source, and their Reflex.
Bought it for CV out to VCF CV In on the new SE-02.
Use the other 5 x Exps via 2 with TS Out, and 3x via MIDI Out.

Works great for drawbars on Hammond Clone.
CV is fantastic for Cutoff.
Modulate sync Osc pitch with Cutoff for a super way-wah.

Have to admit I really like the Amelia Hub above.
Great idea, nice looking box too.
Might buy it just to have a spare as my ancient 8 x 1/4" MIDI Solutions rack has no decent external editor.
