Does anyone know? Pinnacle Studio 14 has no 320kbps MPEG-4 audio rendering possibilty - only 192kbps

Hello! Maybe someone knows about this: I want to render a video as MPEG-4 and upload it to youtube.
As one of the videos said, the audio should be either 128k Mono or 320k Stereo. But in my version of Pinnacle Stdio 14 there's no 320k option when rendering - the maximum is 192k. Why?

Maybe because 192kbps for this encoder is good enough?
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Probably because its nearly 10 yrs old and they are 7 versions past that now.
You should upgrade it, you can still qualify although it seems they only
offer upgrade to the 2nd tier and up. Cant say if its worth it, I have fond
memories of when it was only a compositor back in the day.
Anyway, theres no doubt some free alternative means of re-encoding it's
output available somewhere.

Render separately with other alternatives and upload yourself, maybe?
It could be that uploads were limited back in the days, compared to now.
I know I saw very poor alternatives for Vimeo in one NLE, you render to disk instead with specs I know works.
Or have to do a little trial and error.
And what you have available is also dependent on subscription you have - or not.
I don't use Google for anything - much to intrusive company - so don't know the rules.

Possible workaround is to export to a hi-res avi or mpeg with wav audio, then use Handbrake ( https://handbrake.fr/ ) to transcode to the required a/v types you need

If you upload to youtube it doesn't really matter if you use 192kbps or 320kbps.
They trancode it anyhow, into many different formats. It is then delivered via adaptive streaming to the viewer, means quality (=bitrate) will change depending on network conditions and/or selection from the user.
If you stream 1080p mp4 you get arround 140-160kbps bitrate on the AAC audio. Don't know if it's higher on the WebM/Opus. Also don't know about audio bitrate if you stream 4k - maybe uploading >192kbps makes sense then.
If it is about producing video with best quality audio (not about youtube), use ffmpeg to create MKV file and use h264 as video and PCM (uncompressed) as audio codec.
