Amazing! Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein feel like failures now.

Thanks SA :)

Anybody else having strange (not pleasant) distortion through the signal path? With drive set to zero and the volumes all set to their default along with no limiter, I still get unwanted distortion when I get to modulating things. I really enjoy this synth. It reminds me of a simplified zebra, but not as simple as zebralette. The osc section especially. The CPU use seems pretty intense but it hasn't actually caused any audio glitching. Still it's a bit worrisome that it's using more CPU than diva on divine mode. Any one of these issues wouldn't be too much of a problem, but all together ( and considering the crazy amount of synth plugins I already have) they make me just a bit less enthusiastic than I would need to be to pick this up.

Yeah I occasionally get an unexpected distortion. I never really tried to pin down why or where it happens though, I will have to next time it happens.

Yes, I also noticed unexpected distortions.
What also happened with a patch: playing a single note was OK. When adding notes (playing a chord) the amplitude of the signal seemed to build up, causing distortion.

Does this happen when "boost" is disabled?
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

One idea to get around this for bass tones might be to make use of the drive and distortion modules to enhance the spectrum. From what I have read in the thread so far the distortion seems to be of very good quality.
Or simply use another Osc at lower volume with a higher octave to blend in more heights.
After a bit of testing: the simplest means to add some high end quickly is to dial in some FM.

anyone making any fat snare drums or percussion with Thorn yet?
If you could share some patches would be awesome! Cheers

It happens for me with no FX or the limiter section active. It's less likely with the harmonic filter off but some of the osc settings can cause trouble too.

Tell me if the link doesn't work. Never used sharing with google drive before.

Thanks for those. Really good perc presets, the snares especially!
