Is there a quick way to figure out what I have license for and not and dump those that I dont' have licenses for?

You can see what you have licenses for in the Custom Shop application. Open Custom Shop, click T-RackS, then Gear --> My Gear.

Downloaded. Installed. And working. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all the TR5 plugins I opened are redesigned and resizable (I didn't try them all). Maybe I misunderstood but i thought that only some of them would be resizable initally. In any case all seems good so far. I will have more time later to play around with TR5 MAX.

I see all my TR4 plugins are still showing. I suppose I can delete those?

The resizable feature is going to make me use these more than I had with TR4! Also having MAX will be nice because before I only had a handful of TR4 plugins. Looking forward to trying all this out and seeing what it all sounds like compared to competitor products that I have!

I haven't seen this reported elsewhere so I recommend opening a ticket with IK Support at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/mi/ so they can assist you directly with this. Thank you.
Well it's more pops/clicks than a zipper. I'll be sure to open a ticket once your server starts responding ;)

There is some maintenance currently, you should have access to download and to open any tickets etc shortly. Thank you for your patience.

Can't log in. "Internal Server Error. (code: 106)"

I was waiting for the download link (via email) instead of trying to get to IK Multimedia homepage which is obviously struggling at the moment.

Maybe something else next time than 6 week pre-release hype + exact launch time = servers down on the release day

Optimal number of audio plugins is one more than you currently have.

Yes, everybody submit a ticket for the same issue. That makes perfect sense. Or IK could populate this thread with a SUPPORT person rather than a Salesperson. We don't need someone here telling us "open a ticket". Pointless.

My interactions with IK "support" have left me convinced they don't actually use the software they are supporting.

Bump - are they the same software with the only difference being the Serial Number used to Authorize them?

And ... 941 MB sounds very big, compared to the 176MB of T-RackS 4 CS.

Its frustrating when there is a launch and the website etc aren't working well, but maybe just relax and try it again later. Whether you get it now or later today or sometime this week isn't going to make or break things for you probably. For a company to invest in infrastructure just to accommodate a day or two of high load is not worth it - if they did the cost would be rolled into the product prices making them higher. The internet is tricky business and is a miracle is works as well as it does. Consider giving IK a break on this and understanding the comprimises that have to be made with technology. Just sayin. :)

Easy for me to say since I was able to download and install TR5. But still...

When I started the download of each, they showed the same total file size. so I cancelled one of them and only downloaded one of them. It installed everything. So I think they are the same installer and you only need to download one of them. I think IK considers them separate products and their product database and front end don't differentiate. However they should remove one of the downloads so that people who aren't thinking about it don't download both and consume even more bandwidth. If I were IK I'd disable the download on the TR5 product listing and just leave the one for the Custom Shop.

All were resized, but only those with oversampling were to benefit audibly to some degree, although I can't seem to find the option to oversample or not anymore, maybe it is always on :-)
I assume you would need the TR4 for all your older projects that used them.

I suggested and SPECIFICALLY noted that there were no other reports of the issue audiosabre was having. Seems you missed that. IK Support uses the software we make, I'm sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your support experience. I will relay your comments to them so they can see how they can improve in serving you next time.

I'm also more than a salesperson, and I'm also sorry to see that my role and presence here is such an affront to you. Many value my presence here and have communicated that directly so I foresee being here for a very very long time into the future. There are forum tools which allow you to avoid seeing my posts, and there are ways to not click on threads that are likely to upset you as well.

Also note that no company in their right mind is going to do direct technical support via a third-party forum.
