any word on the 'other than default location' fix? bloody hell guys this is 2017 and a LOT of people don't use default locations. do i need to re-download the installer and if so... is there gonna be a new version number noting the fix? Izotope's Oz7 Advanced was/is the same way... will not work unless in default location. POO! lol

I'm sure our support team can assist, they would be in contact with the testers and developers to see what might be causing your issue.

Edit - and it doesn't mean that others aren't experiencing it, only that I hadn't seen other reports of it so if anybody else experiences this by all means let us know.

I believe that was posted earlier in the thread. This may happen on Windows systems when you choose an alternate install path. While this is being fixed and an update will be available, if you want to try/use T-RackS 5 right away you can install using the default path for now. But it is being worked on. Thank you.

Not meaning to offend here but this is pretty poor...
2017 and companies still think default paths are the norm.... jeez. This should have been tested a long time already. So i need to wait longer until it is fixed....

If you want to get started you can download T-RackS 5 Custom Shop and authorize it with the serial number you see in your IK User Area for it. Then you can use Authorization Manager to authorize the full version serial number and then it would be easiest to then open Custom Shop (the Custom Shop application itself in your Start Menu on Windows or Applications folder on Mac) and do a Gear--> Restore My Gear. For me that's the easiest way to get your authorized gear working quickly - I do it when switching from a test account with less gear than the account I prefer with everything in it

There is a fix being worked on right now, should be up in not too long a time. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that earlier, I'll cut down on the coffee and try not to hyperpost so much.

Must admit I bought in at the last minute cause I am a gearslut, even though I rarely if ever use the T-Rack 4 stuff (mostly use UAD stuff et al)...... but damn the master match is working some voodoo.

I am just getting into the plugins in terms of sound but I can say for sure the gui enhancements are fantastic. They look great and can be resized by dragging on the lower right hand corner. Nice to have the entire suite ready, willing and able to perform on high dpi monitors. Great work IK.

Thank you both for the feedback and kind words. Thanks to everybody else for the information, comments, concerns, etc. I hope I've replied to others too, and sorry if I missed anything. I have enough trouble rolling my own multiquotes here when I bother to (which I messed up the first time).

i just hope i can sell many waves plugins etc. with tracks 5! i realize i dont need 300 comps, 20 eqs etc. so maybe im just too concerned and hope tracks 5 will not suffer from bad bugs and annoying authorizations.

a question, do i need to authorize all plugins seperately as a max user or 1 authorizetion?

i hope the latter..

As you have the T-Racks 5 MAX bundle, it should be one only.
