there are already a LOT! 808 packs out there, what i hate about them is mostly they are in different pirches, i need C pitched ones and then i can transpose, but finding out the pitches is annoying.
also some 808s sound too compressed or low quality, which vst maybe would you recommend to get some real nice wicked 808s? like this?

thx for your replies!

i was thinking about a dedicated kick synth would be maybe better to adjust on the fly and kick 2 seems very nice, also metrum maybe a bit better qualitywise. and just saw kick 2 only has 4 waves for the sub.

but with Omnisphere 2 i should get much more variety + better quality bass i guess, would you recommend taking a dedicated synth for the bass like omni2 + an attack sample for the click?

I have a ton of 'analog' drum vst plugins but always end up reaching for xoxos Bong as it just has so much weight and authenticity, I'm pretty sure he released the Kick section as freeware

Its not free. Its half price $16 ...

808 (Subbass) VST? SA Kick 2? or something else?
