If you're saying that having "better vocals" isn't going to increase my plays, likes, whatever, significantly, probably not. I don't do any promotion. I don't go around like some of the whores on Soundcloud following everybody I can just to get plays. In fact, I block anybody who isn't a "real" person. You know, these accounts that have one track on their play list and it's "Get Listeners" or these other people who do nothing but repost other people's music in order to build up their channel. I now block all of those people and as a result only have like 250 followers.

However, I do know that a few people who have specifically said to me that they can't listen to my music because of Vocaloid, WOULD listen to it with better vocals. And that's all I care about. I'm not looking to be some big songwriting star. That ship sailed 40 years ago when I realized what a miserable business this was.

So as long as my songs SOUND better, that's all I care about.

I think discussing possible technology that has brought on some of the reactions it has makes it far from stupid. It's brought up moral issues and a lot of other things.

But yes, by all means, let's just find something else to pick on because if I discuss the topic itself civilly then we need something else to make a big deal out of. We can't possibly let this thread be civil. It's like an unwritten forum rule. Wagtunes starts a thread, we need to do everything that we can to derail it.

These last few posts are living proof of that. The conversation about the topic itself finally got civilized so we need something else to raise hell about. So let's accuse Wagtunes of advertising.

I hope Hink is watching all this and sees that it's not all my fault. You guys just can't leave things alone. You simply have to start rights.
