Ah, yes, it's
-reaper (5.71 pre18)
-osx 10.12.6
- vst version of plugin

oh, and now it is working somehow.
The release is quite coarse though. its either 0/clicky or quite long

Cheers!

I tried the plugin in Reaper on my Mac and yes, the behavior is different. I'm not sure why though, this is something I'll have to investigate.

Cool! Looking forward to using it! I quite like the timbre of the sounds!

Thanks so much for the effort!

Cheers!

And good luck fixing it!

Thanks for creating this! Overall, I really like it.

However, I did find a couple minor errors. In the "Picked Bass Guitar" I found two notes that were grossly out of tune. Those are C#2 and D2. Both are about 5 half-steps too low in pitch, and their timbre seems off as well. That's all the errors I've noticed so far. Hopefully, they'll be easy to fix.

Take care,
Glen

On closer inspection, I'm finding more tuning errors. Should I post about them here on KVR, or is there a better way to report the errors?

Just a heads up to tell you guys that a cumulative update is in the work for the SampleScience Player. I'm gathering all the info I got from users who experienced problems with it to make sure the update is worth another (heavy) download. This is not the kind of software I see myself updating every week because of the size.

Cheers!

I want to apologize for not sending you more bug reports yet. I got sidetracked by Jury Duty. I'll try to get that info to you in the next couple days. There are multiple voices with tuning problems, and I had planned to check every note of every preset for tuning issues.

I'm working on the standalone version of the SSP and I see that the problematic sounds are the ones that comes from the K2000 Archive. I'll probably just redo them at some point, we'll see. Some of the sounds are worth fixing while others are.

A SampleScience Player review has been written:

I'm still working on the update. I'd like this one to be the "final" update and just update the engine after that.

Examples sound great. Thanks! Both links are sending me to an Italian site called Rainbow Magicland. Is that the correct location?

No. Which links are you talking about?

Post

At the bottom of the initial post are links to an instrument text file and the download. Those links are taking me to a site called Rainbow Magicland and it's all in Italian. Apparently it's an amusement park in Italy.

It is this section:
Available as a VST/AU plugin instrument for macOS and Windows 7 & up.
Instrument list (txt file): https://goo.gl/gEPyJE

Download it here for free: https://goo.gl/Ch1pBT

I have no idea why it's doing that. On my side the link works and lead to my website:

Sorry about the faulty links.

Thanks for the direct page link. Yeah, that was really weird. One thing, I think the redirect I was getting is actually a legitimate web site.
